Ya they topped out on height, about 2.5 -3 ft. I trimmed some down low but i think i put too many in the tray this round. Looks like a jungle.

I know Your kinda kidding around. You do know that humanure needs to compost 1 year before using as fert. for trees/shrubs, and 3yrs for use on ingestible crops, right?

This you know from experience?
What about animal manure? Dont they pump pig shit into fields of spinach to fertilize them? Its got to ferment for 3 years before hand?

I have to rethink my whole plan. 3 years? Does it get better with age? If i compost my shit for 25 years, do i get to slap a blue label on it and sell it for 10x as much?

Sturgeon, I noticed you had to set some of them aside. Hopefully they find a good use, maybe make some butter if you cant finish flowering them out...

None are being set aside, the pic might have been when i was doing some canopy management. All are full speed ahead on flower. Not planning on making any butter this round, maybe some bubble hash tho.

I am doing a LOT of research on off-grid living. A self composting toilet is going to be how I toilet roll. Thus I have done research on this subject.
Basically it amounts to pathogens that cause diseases like hepatitis can live in human waste and it takes a 3yr cook to assure that all pathogens are killed.

A Friend of Mine was an MP in Iraq, and told Me some Soldiers in His unit came down with Hep C. They think the hash they got was grown in humanure that wasn't cured long enough.
The locals do use it as fert. They're poor, and it is free.

Animal manure does not carry the same pathogens that make We Humans sick.
I think if You check The internet source of Your choice You will find this to be true.

I watched 1 video on Youtube, and The family had rows of like 30gal plastic barrels dated and sitting in the weeds at the back of the property. They rotated them all whe another barrel was added.
3yrs is a long time, but once the You hit the 3yr mark, then You would have a steady supply.
I do not have 1st hand experience, just research. Just tryn to keep Ya healthy n safe.

Depends on your diet. If you're an omnivore, 3 years is probably safe. I don't consume any animal products, and eat almost strictly organic. My humanure would be ready to go after less than a year.

That may well be, and if You know Your disease free. DO do as You wish.(of course)
I'm no expert, and simply shared an opinion based on My research.

Its not the diet that makes you unclean, its the needles.

Getting hep c from fertilizer on plants? That sounds crazy. I thought you could only get it through direct blood to blood contact?

what if the animal has a disease, mad cow, pig flu, etc? I heard some people not wanting to use blood and bone meal back when mad cow disease was scaring people, thinking it might have been made with infected cows... i didnt think it was a concern, thats one too many interspecial transitions i think - animal to plant to animal? but if a disease could do that, watch out.

The 30 gallon containers would be a trip, what if you just have an outhouse? is there some way to use a septic tank as fert?
i cant believe im actually asking these questions. this is getting close to two girsl one cup territory.

GROM X Grape Krush

My keeper, big chunky nugs, a little purple, skunky grape

This one is frosty as hell, smells of intense grapefruit skunk, really dank, low leaf buds. Yield may be a bit smaller...

The keeper looks like it'll lose it's purple after dry and cure. The frostier one looks interesting, it's always cool to see a bud so sticky and resinous, though looks arent everything.

2 weeks? Is that 60 days or 65?

Hmm, sturgeon. It's been a while for me, but that looks familiar, maybe it could be magnesium or calcium also? Do you use a cal mag supp? Do you use RO water?
I always used a calmag supp, or epsom salts (which is sulfur and magnesium, i think). And i used tap water as well.

I dont use any sort of supplements just pure blend pro and super bud booster from advance. No r.o just straight tap water. Never had to add a cal mag supplement before. My ones in soil are 1-2 weeks behind and they get the same cocktail with no issues showing. I just dont know what the deal is ...

Could it be some sort of fungus or bug attack then? Check your leaves and your soil carefully, look for any critters or mold. Maybe if your plants are being stressed by something external, they'll manifest it as nute deficiencies at first.
If you dont find any critters or mold, try some calmag, or epsom, see if that clears it up or stops it.
