Lately, I've been thinking all I need are two strains, a nice sativa and a nice indica. And I can mix and match the two to find the right blend im in the mood for.
But it must also be nice to have 15-20 strains going too. Are you searching for the perfect strain?
yes and no baba, not everything makes it to flip. I had to diff strains germ perfectly but died from too much moisture, and another that damped off from ten seedlings to one. its a combination of finding a keeper, finding out if the strain is liable, and finding out if it can survive.
I grew Chem IBL from rezdog before, I guess that looks similar leaf wise/color wise to what I had IIRC, but shoot, I think trying to ID a strain by its appearance is like discerning organic vs. nonorganic food in a taste test: everyone likes to think they can but in the real world it's no better than throwing darts at a board...
The chem ibl had a funky, garlicky oniony skunky smell to it also.
still thinkin she lookin chem dom. this is a good thing as far as i'm concerned. i heard alot about this mango/haze tending to dominate the expressions... whether this is guy or gal, i'm thinking it will be crossed to something else i am running this round.
i popped this chem sis x mango/haze, geisha x mango/haze, mss x sour d v3 f2, and a bean i found in a bud of cherry pie.
nice dsog, hell, I had that many strains fail/dampen off. angeldust, strawberry diesel x hashplant, and surprisingly flo x vanilluna didn't make it past perfect germination.
Is the 'damping off', does that have anything to do with fungus gnats? The only time ive had issues with damping off were when i had gnats. Nasty buggers, didnt do so much to the big plants but really put the small ones in check...
