Abita, I suppose if you wanted to minimize further degradation, you could freeze your stock. Although you seem to pop seeds with regularity, so maybe you'll run through your stock pretty quickly. :)
Unless you're one of those guys who has thousands of seeds, which is probably not that unusual, especially for people who make their own....

Hi there, Tony.

This is a White Rhyno, lineage unknown, gifted to me by a grower. That's how he spelled Rhyno, don't know if this spelling has any significance as to its origin.
Kind of a crappy pic but it is pretty frosty, as a white strain should be, and they're nice dense nuggets of indica goodness. This one is close to chop and have two more clones of it, it's supposed to be an all around good, potent, quick finishing strain, according to the gifter.

I should have checked into this thread a long time ago. Better late than never. Midwest since birth and don't ever see it changing!

I have a 100% stealth micro grow I have been rocking for a little while. Supplies my needs well but I would like to get a small stash built up soon. I am growing under a 42w cfl right now but I have a couple small hps and cmh bulbs to play with when the fall and winter get here. I tried growing in soil but didn't really care for it. I am using an aquaponics system right now and am trying to dial it in and get the grow bed "seasoned". Check out my links if you have more interest.

Been gone a good minute midwest. Lots of old and new faces about!

Interesting article, but it seems like they really got complacent with things. Leaf in the trash, windows not blacked out, not looking like they lived in the building (ie no normal trash) and the grow store debacle as well. I thought it was SOP in a non-med state to borrow a car for the grow store, take a round-a-bout way home for tails and run errands at a few different shops...

Complacency, as always, is a grower's worst enemy. Good to see they got off easy with federal plant counts.

PC has some primo strains, I can attest to that. My last run with his Blockhead yielded some dense, frosty indica nuggets that's my go to medicine for bed time.
Now you've got some homemade airpots, I see. What's with the valve/knob on the bottom?

Good to hear back from the other midwesterners, astartes, smoke 1 and farmdale. Hopefully your summer's are going well, especially now that the heat finally broke.

Here's some shots of a Sour Bubble BX3, gifted to me by another grower. A slow vegger, she grew only about a foot after a month under a 400w, but she stretched alright when put into 12/12, about 100%. And it's right up there with the frostiest strains ive grown, just classic indica goodness.

Abooooo...ut 5 or 6?
Sucky record keeping. Lately Ive gotten lazy and half-assed about things like that. This latest round of chemdog ibl's, though, I did note what date i put them into 12/12...

ok, hypothetical question for everyone... lets say you have a nice haze going, for example moonshines sage daze, a sage x (amnesia x nevils x amnesia) cross that goes a nice 100 days. if you had a female or male of similar nature going, what would you cross with it if you had the chance?

ask yourself is the cross worth making... would would you want the offsprings to be like? and can you achive that with both parents?

Bird, I've always been a fan of using a sativa-dominant male and a indica-dom mother if you're looking for hybrid vigor. I've tried sat-dom lady and indy male and haven't been impressed with the progeny. Bubba would be a good choice, as she's not as dominant in F1 crosses as many believe. I made some Bubba x Neville's beans awhile ago and got the stretch and stacking of the dad with the density and trich coverage of the mother.

of course d3, crosses are worth making. astartes pretty much nailed it with the stretch and stacking influence, as my intentions would be to take something with alot of flavor and add in a little haze effect to come out exactly how A put it.

So cross your 100 day haze with something that finishes in 60 days and has good yield, smell, taste, potency, etc. If that 60 day'er is somewhat sativa dom in effect then all the better, if you want to keep the high mostly energizing, even psychedelic...

man... how i do thoroughly enjoy you trainwreck x actual sativa, with your orange scented wrecky goodness. I think I may just keep you around for awhile to mum it up.
