hey thanks for the compliment NortherKronic. i just started chopping on her today. ill have to get some pics up of some of the colas. some of them have a really nice purple hue to them. she didnt produce the yield that i was looking for, but i hope the smoke is good. the trich have been taking FOREVER to change. shes coming up on almost 9 1/2- 10 weeks, longer than the breeder says. of course those are more guidelines than anything. im ready to pack the tent back up w/ some PPP again so im taking her down kinda early. no biggie though. all the recent strains ive bought have all been going longer than they say (vanilla Kush, Lemon Skunk, Pineapple Chunk) anyway....... ill get some shots of that VK up for everyone tonight. Stay Safe ! ! !

P.S............. that MK Ultra looks spectacular. i cant wait to run some of the TH Seeds freebies from the birthday giveaway. their Sage has had my attention for quite some time.

The Airborn x Neville's looks stellar, how does she smoke? How does she stand next to ChemD?

Northern, are you running 3g hempy's in smart or air pots or regular pots? Handwater or some sort of irrigation system? Which nute line will you be using?

Farmdale, its good that youre taking your plants to full maturity before chopping, thats well grown homegrown right there. Is the Lemon Skunk the last two shots you posted, and the first 8 were vanilla kush? If so, the Vanilla has an interesting look to it, almost a dense looking cotton candy appearance, imo... Do you have any dried nug shots of it?

Str8: I use the GH Cocotek bricks myself, nice little bricks that absorb about 1.5 gallons of nute soln; with some perlite and verm one brick will make about 6ga of medium for me, enough to fill 3 smartpots...
Been thinking of going to peat or a peat/coco mix, just because peat is commercially available at your average big box stores...

Hey Baba, For the three gallon hempys I used regular black 3 gallon buckets. They have one 1/3" drain hole two inches from the bottom of the bucket. I cover that hole with some screen so I dont have any medium spilling out when they overflow.

Now to be perfectly honest they are not true hempy buckets, but my own modified version. Up to the level just covering the drainhole I fill up with hydroton clay pellets. The rest of the bucket I fill with promix that has had a large amount of extra perlite added to it. They prolly dont drain quite as fast as I would like them to. Next run I am just going to lighten up the mix even more, until I get a more even feeding schedule. Right now because I have yet to dial it in and because of my perpetual I am hand watering everything. I will eventually add drip lines once I get into a room that is more permanent.

For nutes, in flower I use: GH flora Nova bloom, Diamond Nectar, Kool Bloom Powder, Liquid Karma, Pure Blend pro for last two weeks in flower subbed for Flora Nova because FN has too much N, Molasses for flush.

Veg- FN grow, BCuzz root stim, Dynagrow silica, DN, Algamic.

Wow didnt expect that to be quite so lengthy, puffin some MK out of my freshly cleaned bong. Ahh the simple things in life!

Northern, Ive been thinking of buying promix to blend in with my coco; it would mean i wouldnt have to order from the hydro store as often. Sounds like youre rocking a real hydro-organic grow with the 'Nova line and the supplements. Your weed must have some serious terpene production.

Farmdale, that Vanilla Kush has a very pretty calyx structure: like big fat fluffy candy, the calyxs are so big. Is the smoke sweet at all? You could call that Cotton Candy Kush and it would be equally appropriate.

Bobble: Nice bud! See some frost on the fan leaves, gotta love when that happens. If anything, it'll make a
good hash plant. What's Honey White? Is that a cross with The White?

Lemon, the enlarged shots really let you see the sparkling trichs glistening over the bud. Nice trim job as well. Is the SGK a Grape Krush cross? Ive heard good things about GK from someone who grew it medicinally in Colorado. You gotta love those DJ Short strains. Just real interesting highs. I had a Flo mom that I didnt keep, and sometimes I think I should have.

No baba, the sour grape kush is a purple kush x chem08 male X grape ape x chem08 female.

The grape krush is way more grape, while the sgk is slight berry/grape with some lemon.

Ya DJ's sure knows his stuff, just a killer breeder.By the way what did you replace your flo with?peace lemon

I havent really replaced the Flo with anything, Lemon. Well, I have Blockhead and K2, from Philcuisine. And a GDP from Harborside dispensary in California that's probably my one keeper strain. And cuts of Lady Cane and Chocolate Rain, from a different site, that are pretty tasty and potent.
But I miss the Flo's unique high, which at standard doses was motivational. Not saying some of what I have isnt motivational or uppity as well, but now that I seem to have worked the kinks out of my setup, it would be interesting to see how it would turn out now.
Did you make the SGK cross yourself?

Bobble, is Highlighter one of the private breeders on the 'Bay?

The GDP has a very nice, well-balanced high, potent as well. The taste is nice, a strong classic hashy taste. One of its best attributes are very dense buds: they retain a lot of weight even after drying, and a small amount breaks up into a sizable pile of bud.
It finishes mostly cloudy at 60 days or less. The only issue is that it doesnt veg as vigorously as the other strains in my garden. Maybe its losing vigor because I keep taking clones of clones of clones...?
Can't say I've heard of Candyman, is he an icmagger or a breeder?

Wco, welcome.
