just think 90 degree corners. i run a 1K in a small room with jus a box fan close to the door so it can suck out the warm air inside the room. i also wanted to keep the door open when the lite is on or off....it works for me even when its bright outside of the growroom b/c of the sunlite....Hope this helps.

First time using it, actually. My first BHO attempt was with a turkey baster. Worked ok but didnt hold much bud.

Ran the tube about three times, used a couple ounces i guess?

Extracted into the same pan, one after another.

Got an ok amount, i guess, but it doesnt look like much. I saved the extracted bud, maybe ill throw it into my next cannabutter batch? Probably nothing left to extract but i feel like there should still be something left...

i have 1 3/4 oz. of green crack inside the cheap dollar store panty hose, again i want a very potent glycerin tinture...Hope this helps.

I did a hot extraction using the 151. Put the 151 and bud in a mason jar, then into a simmering water bath for about 30 mins, stirring every now and again. Have to make sure you have your oven fan/range hood on plus windows open for fresh air exchange in order to avoid evaporated alcohol building up and catching fire!

Here's a link to a process by some head named Master Wu, who's done a lot of tinkering with green dragon:

He recommends a decarboxylation before extraction, in order to convert more THC-A to THC. I did it for the green dragon but not for my glycerin tincture, which has been 'cooking' on top of my ballast for the last month or so.

Do people do a hot extraction when making iso? I guess so, it would make the alcohol evap a lot faster... Of course you wouldn't use 151 to make iso when 70 or 90 percent iso is much cheaper....

Anyone doing anything special for 4/20 tomorrow?
