midwest growers unite

Hi everyone new to this thread and hope to have pics soon right now nothing much worthy of posting other then the tomatoes are frickin huge. I am playing around with hempy buckets and a drip system trying to get the Chicago water supply figured out and I gotta say it is some good shit. I had a little cal deficiency but now that i have the ph on a slow march upwards over a few days from 5.5-6.2 they look much better and seem to have everything available with tap and gh 3part.

ETA on the brew and grow? seems like it will be easier to get to on the bus for me then the other one. The other one was easy to get to on the metra but dragging shit in the big train station looks weird compared to all the weirdos I blend in with on the bus.

O usda101 if you wants some cuts I have some real nice tomatoes.

I'm pretty sure Brew n Grow is ready to go. We did some of the last construction on the building right before the winter, but we're still waiting on the some of the payment. I dunno if that's a good sign or a bad sign....:dunno:

Well,

2 of the 4 males hermied. The other 2 males haven't changed and the females are still female. The strain is Chrystal. These are the first hermaphrodytes I've had from a breeder pack.

I tried to take pictures of the plants when I noticed the change. I can't get good focus or lighting.

I still hope I can get something out of the 2 plants I'll be keeping for now.

for sure, i've heard of cbf's creme line. my kksc s1's came from the bandit. zig-zag internodal spacing for days. it can get a bit leafy, but it is bomb to smoke if you like strawberries and haze. it's not as frosty as the others in the garden, but it sure has a great buzz.

i'm kicking myself in the ass for not saving the chem pheno of lavender dawg from candyman.

i got connerys in flower, but i lost the labels to em. all the other shit i got in flower is og crosses, so it can be hard to tell. we'll see if i find something good. also got some kksc x the white and maybe some og x the white in there.

some new beans should be coming:
* SoCal Master Kush x Chem D
* Pre 98 Bubba Kush x Chem D
* Tangerine Kush x Chem D

I had some low germ rates with the SC, out of 2 that popped, I did get a female, thus far Im not super positive which one BUT it is by all means one of the most trichome covered plants I have grown to date, it looks like a layer of furry sugar, and it's not too leafy. I need to snap a couple new pics.

I''m for sure bringin some new diva's to the stage, Im gettin some Chemdawg and somthing else clones next month and gonna order a couple new flavors, prolly some Blueberries and some Bubblegum

What a godaweful mess.

The forest is an ice lake yet the weather has been warm the past week. I would not go walking on the thin ice so I found a plateau with good exposure and cleared the brush. It's about 75 square feet. I also dropped off the hoe. I need more than one basket.

Looks like I'm going with Papaya this year. Have a little green house I made that'll go next time. Looking into clear rubber maid to make a green house with. There are many around the garage. No seed and pray this year. Plants are going in the ground. I'm not taking another chance. I will have a fall harvest of as many plants as I dare.

Seasons, they are a changing.

new b n g is so tasty...everything is massive stock...including house brand digi ballasts. I already asked if they would swap faulty ones on the spot, didnt get a straight answer, its not like we could send it to the "manufacuter", they just look like rebranded digital greenhouses which i here good things about. i would check it out its insanely sweet

Any michiganders go to the cultivation station, was there today. Great place I'd have to say putting my new grow together wouldn't of happened as easy with out the people over there.

New rooms just about built. No more 400 watters, I've got 2000 watts going on soon. Ill have the 1000's placed over a 4x7.5 ebb and flow table, plenty of watts over that baby. Super stoked about it too. Took my easiest strain to grow for and a few new to go with first. For the most part its going to be about 20 white widow with 3 or 4 other plants, until I start new seeds. Oh and kept the 400 for veg/moms/clones. :)

I just got my digital greenhouse 600 watt digitals and i am very happy with them. Also, I purchased them from http://htgsupply.com/, and asside from a few shipping mishaps they have provided some of the best customer service I've ever seen. I spoke with a couple of the guys at htg and all were great but Jarrett went above and beyond. When I asked about warranty I was assured that within the 5 year manufature's warranty I would only need to call him for a replacement to be sent immediately. He was also willing to haggle price a bit and gave me a substantial percentage off from the get go. then a few days later I reallized i ordered too many 1 gal grow bags and no 2 or 3 gallon ones, so i called jarrett and asked him to add them to my order. He did so promptly and didnt even charge me for them because my ballasts were back ordered for another week. When i recieved everything I was a bit disappointed to find a shattered reflector lens, but then I noticed that Jarrett had included 4 extra 600 watt hps bulbs and 2 sets of yo yo reflector hangars at no charge. Then when i called he very rapidly sent out not one but two new lenses very carefully packaged and in tact, once again at no charge to me. So I highly recommend them and will be giving them my business in the future. Oh yeah and their prices are pretty amazing already.
