Michigan bud scene?

I am from michigan and I now live in detroit, I did live in the middle of the state for a long long time though. I have connects from here to chi-town and back. ALL THROUGH BATTLE CREEK there is ALOT of killer deals. I was paying $250 a quarter pound for regular compressed GREEN, $350 for the limers. It's not always about people knowing what kind of weed they have, in fact the best deals I have ever gotten were from people that had no idea the quality of the bud they had.

My girlfriend is from Flint michigan and they get some real good bud, you just got to go to the not so good places in the city to find the good stuff, not to be racist but the white kids were the ones usually smoking the mexi.

I can agree to that. Flint is full of grow ops, willing to bet the marijuana trade represents half of the local economy up there. Not tooo many job options in Flint, so people do what they have to do.

I'm from the southeast part of michigan and with the passage of proposal one I hope it will become more available then the methods we have now. Which is usually through a friend or a friend of friend or driving into the city and looking for a street punk. I grow my own now and don't have to deal with the pains of trying to obtain it when needed. As that can be a pain in da ass when your local supplier is out of the goods. I'm hoping for some kind of local support system to get established for other growers here in michigan to become aquainted with and try and pool our sources so that we can provide the medical strains that will be needed for the medical cad holders. The genetics I have White Widow, Blueberry and Siskaberry were provided for me from a friend in florida but that drives was white knuckles all the way up I-75 back to Michigan. But again its not what you know its who you know in michgian if you want quality smoke. Yeah and Ann Arbor is still pretty librel with pot smoking and was home to the hash bash 420 party for a long time. Back then if you got caught smoking cannabis in Ann Arbor it was a 5.00 dollar fine, now its 100.00 fine for less the 1oz still not bad. But hash bash isn't like it used to be on 4:20 you could see people smoking all over Michigans campus, now you might spot a few groups but nothing like before...LETS GO MICHIGAN..TIME TO PLANT A SEED AND OVERGROW THE COUNTRY..GROW SAFE YOU ALL!!

You guys oughtta think of banding together... Best when all of the participants are doing relatively well, and are near or at the same level. Complying with REASONABLE LAWS.

Consider "Growers' Insurance." A system where when someone runs out of stash, or even Cash, for whatever reason, and does not want to go buy smoke (how many of us like to pay for it...?) another grower - or 2 - supplies an ounce of headies. It will come back later to the giver, but maybe from someone else.... Maybe it manifests in other ways: Helping someone else with their scene, or a group fixing something in their house. Whatever... Sort of a Barter system. THIS WILL BE VERY USEFUL IN THE COMING ECONOMIC MELTDOWN OF THE YOU ESS AY... We will need each other more, regardlessof where the laws go.

We do those sort of things now, because the infrastructure is not there for us.

If Michigan would make the Medical laws more reasonable, I would move there. My ties to the ol' Mitten are long-Standing, and the people are simply wonderful to be around. The Cultural aspects of life there are, in many ways superior to CA....

Yes, from the 70's on, Lotsa Pot Smoked there...! Most peeps parents even toked up.... Lotsa Colombian Gold and Red (Santa Marta Gold, imported hash, and Punta Roja, as we know now) Hash Bash was a blast..>!

Cops would say, "Go home - Kids," and not even take our stash. It was very liberal.

The weather sux, tho...! Gosh, but the trade off is perhaps worth it. Because of Up North, of course.... Gettin; away from it all, the spice of life. NonStop flights to AMS from DTW ain;t bad either.... 7.5 hours, and you is there...!

Yeah, back in thd day.. and i'm talking mid 70's I was pulled over twice with marijuana in my bowl with a bunch of friends and both times the sheriff just confiscated our pipes and had us dump the weed out on the side of the road and sent us on our mary way...how times were back then..simple...

The thing most people forget is the weed is for recreational use and that is what 99% of the population uses it for. I'm not medical and could be and will probably get a card in april. but weed isnt my best friend, i dont pray to it, none of that good stuff that most people on here like to do.

weed is a cash crop just like corn, wheat, tomatoes ect. and if it was treated as such a lot of people wouldn't be living in poverty i've had friends who have moved to cali and got filthy rich growing and supplying clubs in under a year.

proplayer you sound like a good guy and seems like you can see the opportunity that being a legal state like cali and other states will provide to the people and the economy of MI. if the people in Mi look and not follow the bad examples of alot of the people in cali, Mi could jump years ahead and basically be exactly were cali is without the headaches. also there is a doctor seeing patients in southfield this month i believe or was it last month.

325 a qp not compressed regs
cheese, purple haze, bubble gum/ juicey fruit, motivation, purple pine berry, shishkaberry, and a few others are always around for reasonable prices by me we have a big grow
co-op over here so i see most of it from seed on up
love it here
