Mi5,Onyx or Sour 60 ?!

Hi!

Anyone who nows which is the best one for cold, wet climate ( Norway - 57 degrees north ) , Mi5,Onyx or Sour 60 ?! These are the ones ivé found so far - suggestions?

Mold-resistance is very very important in my area! and of course, which one are fastest maturing of these, outside?
Got 7 Diesel-ryders going,about 5 days old - planning to get them out early in may,
last year they survived a lousy summer quite well…but i have heard DS is not so mould-resistant? hmmm..

Ive been playing with the thought of creating the perfect 1meter,mold-resistant, good-yielding early finishing auto… maby crossing in some Royal Dane or something ?

I grew Mi5 outdoors last year in what turned out to be very rainy conditions. I had no mold issues with it. I started it late in the year and did run into some colder temperatures in late October/early November. They didn't mind the colder temps although it did slow the growth down some and they took a couple weeks longer to finish.

Sour 60 should do real well for you outdoors, however no true outdoor testing was done. The size of them indoors should suggest they will indeed do well in the great outdoors.

I am Norwegian and I have ordered me some Mi5...wanted some onyx as well but they were out of stock

the reason why I went with mi5 is simple - have you seen the fucking size of those beasts?!

I will be crossing them with my Purple Thypoon and Nepal plants from Denmark probably...if I can get the polination timing right that is, nothing serious planned and the worst thing that could happen is that I end up with 100% sinsemilla instead of some seeded stuff...and then I just buy new seeds for next year

I´m thinking along the same lines, looking for the right cross-material. But: They say these strains are aleady strong against mold - what is your reasons for making crosses then?
(Maybe it is possible to aim for wind resistance?)

You aren't shitting!!! I started a 10 pack. I am about 11 days above dirt.. They are bigger than 3 wek old blue himilaya, and out pacing alot of other stuff i have going.


The cups are all the mi5's, full on branches. I am expecting some good chunky momas. I will be seeding the shit out of these so i can run some outside.


Just my 2 cents.. Nothing wrong with the others, if i got my S60 seeds. This pic would be of them right now. Always next year!

well, I just figure it cant hurt since the purple thy and nepal are outdoor sativas specifically bred for our part of the world, besides it will boost height\yield and probably vigour

Day time temperatures were in the mid to high 60s but night time temperatures were getting down around 35 to 40 degrees F. There were a couple nights where frost was possible so those nights I moved them into the garage. Mi5 has some Afghani bred into it so it will get some blue coloring. The colder temperatures brought out the blue more to the point that the leaves turned almost black. When dried and cured it has a beautiful bluish green color. Also a great aroma and taste.

Typical norwegian autumn temps.. quite nice days but CHILL nights - Thanks, useful info!
