Yep I bought one thinking I could reduce the # of joints smoked in a day.
Meh, doesn't work for me, gave to a friend who vapes all the time and he was very satisfied with it's performance.
In my quest for healthier consumption, I'm going to start making shit loads of hash and oil, at least I'll get rid of the plant matter.

Prof Sublime I was wondering myself if perhaps they had just manufactured a defective batch and I happened to get one. If I ever see one at someone house/concert/hippie fest I could possibly be persuaded to try it once more.

Mine worked okay, it sounds like yours is defective if you aren't exaggerating. I'd probably be able to vape 3 full trenches before replacing a battery, but only the 1st trench would heat up fast. For a serious session I'd have to be rotating batteries in and out of the charger, kind of lame... Apparently they have a wall adapter now, that might be interesting.
There are definitely better pieces for the money. The only reason for using this is if you need something stealthy with a small profile. Build quality leaves a lot to be desired, it feels like a toy.
But fuck all that, I lent mine to a buddy and he broke it so it doesn't really matter anymore.
The only time I've really used a vape that I loved was at the Vapor Lounge in Toronto, they have digital volcanoes and they work great. I'd probably never pay that much for one though, they go for like ~$500+.
As far as a portable vape, this one looks really sick!

They run it over with a car, drop it in water, have a dog fetch it, etc. in the tester videos, haha.

buy a VaporGenie & use a blue pencil flame lighter because it burns off nearly all the butane, zero soot. within 10-15 hits you'll know you have it mastered, huge profound clouds of vapor (yes it leaves only light brown duff behind) on each hit.
the instructions inform you to fill the bowl to 1/2 capacity but I prefer a single burn and load 1/4 of the bowl.
the OP is no more, but if it's about big hits, that's just not what the MFLB was designed for. I don't have one myself and also never used one, but from what I've read it also has a learning curve.

the underdog is my daily driver at home, vaporgenie for when I'm not at home or when my UD is still warming up, or to revape the abv from my UD on a higher temp(still have to get a variable voltage powersuply for my UD, in europe the adaptors apparently give off a lower voltage as the ones in the US so in the EU it runs on a lower temp with the original 12 volt suply, but I like it a lot on lower temp too)
the PD has become backup since I got the UD

The mflb with the new power adapter makes it the best unit ever sold.
You CAN get sick huge rips (YouTube mflb bonghit) and it does save bif
I used to smoke an eight a weekend, easy. I TRIED to do this with mflb and could not, I got too high. I reccomend this to anyone looming for a nice cape.
They are wood, hand made in the USA. And have lifetime warrenty.

probobly too late. But mflb covers this type of damage in their warrenty.
someone even was arrested with their box, mflb sent em a new one..free.

Magic Flight Launch Box is a decent portable vaporizer. The company has excellent customer service.
I got the cherry wood box which caught fire the first time I used it. I read on another forum the cherry wood units were defective. I notified the company and got an upgrade to a walnut wood box within five days. The new walnut box has worked without flaws after many use.
The pros: Little bit of herb ( grounded finely) lasts a long time, not much waste with the Magic Flight. Great for stealth use in my backyard. A trench or two gets me ripped every time. It is also easy to keep clean.
The cons: Heavy use with the battery leaves a metallic battery taste in my mouth.
However, heavy use with the AC adapter does not leave a metallic taste in my mouth.
I do not use the Magic Flight as the main vaporizer unit, even though it makes the medicine last longer than my other vaporizer (VRIP, Evolution).
Also, I noticed the maple wood model gives better flavor than the walnut or cherry wood.
If I get another Launch Box I will get the one with maple wood.

fascinating about the wood flavors. I have the walnut and wondered if others tasted different.
the new cherry are not defective, and you can stain them with food coloring for an awesome custom look.

the pa, I should buy an extra because its me and my partners only piece. We have others. But fuckem, the mflb is a bud saver, and its fun. I have asthma so I can take stupid huge rips anymore.
