Mexican weed?

Most likely going to move to Mexico for financial reasons in near future, rather than become homeless in USA.

Is the weed they grow still dirt weed, like in the 1970's, or has it improved?

Probably spoiled after GG4 for last 6 years.

10 or 15 years since I’ve bought Mexican pot. Good seedless at an affordable price. I wouldn’t say connoisseur quality, but far from garbage.

Last time I had some (~10 years ago) it was decent and seedless.

You might be able to find work as a grower for a Cartel lol. Then you’d get the freshest, best buds. Just get with the winning Cartel, which one is that again?

Mexico is about to legalize weed soon. Pounds are about 50$ and they are weak but it's not garbage. It's hard to find good weed but when you do it's a great deal most is average no flavor low ceiling and you get used to it right away
I see lots of hash in your future and no it's not hemp it's a drug type even if it's super low thc

Sometimes you get lucky and buy something tasty it's very rare for me but it happens they just brick it store it ship it by the 50 pound block so their is no time to sample everything and you get those rare super strong and or flavor bricks.

It won't be hard to find sometimes you find it while not bricked down their

I am reading the F outta most awesome old school AZ thread MadJag put up. In it on post #146 he states that this guy who was saving the best seeds from Mex brought a couple bags down to the cartel growers, returning the best landrace genetics. Like Colombia, I suspect the mexicans know the diffrence between good and schwag, but do the growers that supply them give a rat's ass about organic and chem free?

And if you know espanol, it might not be a bad move for a while. Good luck and let us know how it works out. I hear some of the women in Chihuahua are tall and some blonde.

Why homeless? No license?

I’m a bum. Straight up. Still got my license and my tools. There are gigs that pay.. well. I went from living gym to gym in SD to raking in anywhere from 1-5k a day off a craigslist gig, for years and years.

Just apply for higher paying jobs and sell the hell outa yourself. Lie if you must. Mexico is for rich retired folks. It’s not a terribly realistic choice for someone in your shoes, imho. Better off signing up at the 24 hour gym and kickin it in the jacuzzi while you look for a skilled labor type gig.

We used to send kilos of seeds, back in the 70’s some pure varieties. There are a lot of expats in Mexico living in everything from expensive places to trailers. I’ve heard they want people who know how to make hash, rosin. I don’t have any connects any more but I don’t think it would be to hard to find some folks to help you especially if you take your time and meet the right folks...

Thanks for the advice. I have a set of water hash bags I have never used, so would be easy to bring with me. In April they are going to legalize, and allow up to six plants. Not sure if that includes temporary residents. Takes 5 years or marriage to become citizen. Illegal to bring seeds and cuttings in at this point. Still have some gg4 cuts, but probably going to die real soon, Have to get house ready to move out, and nowhere to store them. Maybe when legal can go to California and buy some killer cuts at a dispensary.

I am on opposite coast from my picture, shitty NYC area (suburbs), where it is insanely expensive. Have looked at cheap houses around $50K, but new laws require a new septic system for almost any house over 10 years old, for $40K. That is business to be in around here. 10 short days of work, and $20K in profit.

I am finding nice houses in Mexico (not tourist areas but near beach) for $20K. 3 bedroom 2 story small mansion for $60K. Have enough money to last till social security down there. Here I would make 5 years if I spent nothing but food, insurance, and taxes.

Yeah, Mexico will legalize in April. Allowing 6 plants, but not sure if that includes temporary residents. One problem there, is laws could change with next election, although think this new guy is liked for being a president for the people. He refuses to fly a 120 million dollar jet just for himself.

Is there another use for a rosin press, in case asked by customs?? They do not like people bringing electronics into country. One guy from Laredo said that at the border crossing near him, they only check about 1 in 20 cars. That may be because he has Texas plates. I would probably use mexicali, so they might worry about drugs from California coming in. Already have to worry about bringing animals with me.

One thing I am good at is making extremely strong cannabutter out of trash (trim leaf), using coconutcurry's method.

I wouldn't worry that much about them asking questions about a press. If they do ask just say it's a tool you use in the shop for mechanical things. If they say this is for drugs, just say calmly no and that you have no doubt that anything can be used for drugs.

I would buy a new one. I never got around to trying rosin. Spent a butt load of money on closed loop BHO, and was too paranoid to do more than one extraction, with lil terp I made. Turned out pretty black. Rosin seems like way to go, then use pucks for cannabutter, or something to get last 15%.

Also, water hash bags I have, were never used.

Interesting. Can you buy those houses as a non-citizen? Lease/rent only? I spent a few months there on a short term job I had in a nice little town - Saltillo. That was a very safe city, but this is 1995 or so.

I experienced zero dope there despite hanging at bars and the whorehouse with the locals from work, but I didn't try either. Wish it would have lasted longer.
