Methods to mitigate over-watering damage...

Made the mistake of believing some peoples hype that "you cant overwater in smartpots". Lying SoBs... Anyway, I was curious if there are other methods of keeping up your plants health to reduce the stress while your soil dries out? I was curious if foliage feeding during those 1-2 days would help to keep the plant fed and less strained?

Im sure there are hundreds of over watering stories that involved some outside of the box thinking that didnt involve something dumb like putting a heat lamp to your soil. Im not so much looking for methods to dry my soil quicker, as much as trying to reduce the pain my plant has to go through due to the over watering...

When I had soggy dirt from rice hulls breaking down quicker than expected, a handful of worms in each affected pot helped get them through to a decent finish.

Thanks for that, I actually have a feed mill that has a worm farm only a couple miles from my house, just havent gotten around to swinging by. Just added that to the to do list.

Well drained soil is hard to over water one time. Usually it's watering too much too often several times.

Best method is run dehumid 24 hours, run fans 100% and don't chill the room too much. Dry air that is moving will draw from soil and stoma.
