It may be just me, but Gypsy's detention is the biggest news of an arrest that I know of. The story is on all the boards in some fashion.

Look for the care package I sent to you man. Not much, but hope it helps.

It's sad to think of anyone having to spend Christmas behind bars, away from their loved ones and home comforts, especially on such draconian and flimsy charges. Hopefully this will be the last one for Gypsy and he will be free long before this time next year

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all :santa1:

Happy Holidays folks.

Hard to believe Gypsy is still held against his will.

Good karma and warm blessings sent to his loved ones.

Hoping for the end of this injustice.

Free Gypsy! :ying:

Gypsy is suffering because he did what he believed in.

Throughout history the lives of countless buddha have been marked by trials and tribulations, and they were forced to enure great periods of suffering.

We learned from them that suffering is not only a part of life, but part of "the fire that tempers the steel" in regards to enlightenment concerning the human condition.

Some stand by the notion that it is required for enlightenment, and while I do not wish to limit the potential for those in the world who do not know suffering to be enlightened, I cannot say that bereft suffering I would understand the human condition either.

Many of Nichiren's writings were made when he was imprisoned, as well as other "Buddhas".

Reading your post made me flash back to my incarceration. It's a bleak situation, and sometimes feels really hopeless, BUT, always keep in mind that it will pass someday, as all things do. It's a shame that we live in a world where some folks profit at the expense of others. Hoping your case comes to a satisfactory resolution. Everyone here is hoping for the best.
Stay safe in there....peace.
