He's in jail on remand; got busted with way over the limit and supply.
All his posts saying he had a medical card and could grow legally were a smokescreen; that was just to confuse any leo's surfing this site.
In reality he was in a non med state and had big numbers.
A friend of mines friend used to buy off him so that's how I know.
We won't be seeing him for about 5 years, sorry to say.

There are limits in non-med states. Over a certain amount, penalties are much harsher, and many times minimum mandatory sentences, whereas you can get probation with small numbers.

San Diego is a little unique. First, being in California, it's in a med state. Unfortunately, the powers that be down there have fought very, very hard against allowing much, if any Prop 215 activity down there. Don't forget, they were one of the plaintiffs in that suit that went to the supreme court over whether or not they could be forced to issue the ID cards.
Being in a med state, being within county or city limits, having a card--none of that protects you, really. Because, yes, even though Prop 215 sets no limits, even though the People vs Kelley ruling said no limitations may be set (by legislature), cities and counties are setting limits, or outright banning.
No one should be going to jail for this, and as far as the SML story... I don't know, I prefer to think it's not true, whether or not he was actually living in SD.
