I LOVE THEM!

She's a mix I got from a shelter because typically Pit Bulls don't get adopted. (there's like 90% chance that a pit bull dropped off at a shelter will be dead within a week or two. Euthanasia.)

She's not 100% pit bull, but at about a year old she's already 50 lbs. So definitely not a Jack Russell. =)

Quick update'

1) FINALLY feeling better, dudes GET YOUR FLU shot, I got one 3 weeks ago and STILL got "something" that was terrible for 3 days....ughhh

2) Fed the bud room with compost tea and a little SM-90 just to be sure nothing "develop's" in the soil.

3) Everything is just starting to pack weight and SWELL UP, and it starting to smell really nice...

4) And as Avi put's it......I'm defoling, and defoling....and more defoling... goddam 70 plant of defoling!

I take 100 mg zinc for 2-3 days at cold or flu onset (with oj). Haven't had a bad cold or flu since early 90's when I started that routine. Works better than Cold Eeze and way cheaper. If you can't find 50 mg zinc (chelated) try 3 30 mgs. If you wait a day or 2 doesn't work as well but still better than nothing. Also viruses hate heat. I sweat it out a bit under the blankets with heat turned up if I'm late with the zinc.

I've never had a flu shot. Once a year or so, I start feeling like crap for about a day. By end of second day/beginning of third day I am usually back to normal.

MEGA I lived on the Peninsula for years. When I was working the trades I used to take "oscillococcinum" by boiron. its a sublingual homeopathic that you take at the sign of flu like symptoms. Anyway I never got the flu. Whole foods has it. You can take it when people around you start getting the flu as a preventative. Would be good for you to have with you when your on the road.

On a personal note.
My aunt is the one of the .00001% of people who got some crazy disease from a shot just a couple years ago. She is in very extreme pain and can barely walk sometimes. I will NEVER take a shot, never. Doctors say that she will have to deal with this for the rest of her life. They offered her opiates for her pain...Being sick for a week or even a month seems like nothing after being faced with a lifetime of pain.

I have to say dudes DO NOT GET YOUR FLU SHOT.

Hey I didn;t mean to get into the whole bad flu shot vs good flu shot debate, but do whatever feels right for you. On that note I am MUCH better tooka shitload of Sambuco (Whole Foods) a natural anti-biotic(?) that and a butt load of supplements my g/f shoved down my throat...so that has passed.

Update on Mother - in Law

She had surgery last night, doctors said they got all the cancer and it HAD NOT matasticsized (SP?) so we are feeling a lot of relief, now she will be in the hospital for 7-10 days still and will still have to have chemotherapy treatments but we are very greatfull to everyone who sent us positive energy and prayers, thank you SO much.

She literally just found out that I grow pot about a month ago, my g/f is a terrible liar and she asked her straight if I grew....well the cat's outta the bag now....but she is chill specially since I can get her some dank fire oil's or edibles to help with the chemo now.

If anyone has "special" recipes or idea's for chemo patients I am all ears, I know Arminus has some good idea's I bet but I am open to everyone here so feel free to share with us, I am the student willing to learn....

These are my most recent take on the HOA pills.


They're very easy to make. You can get lecithin and the 00 gel caps at Whole Foods in their "vitamin" section. You can also get coconut oil there. Mix that shit together with some full melt and get a little baby syringe to fill the caps. A few grains of cornmeal will solidify the mixture and make it very portable.

glad to hear the old girl got a good result from the op.

I would think for people that never used before that the lollipop would be the way to go. Emotionally as well as chemically it would work for her, make her feel like a little school girl again. Plus you just suck a bit, then a bit more if you want to. You dont get the "full dose" of a capsule. And it can have cool flavours and colours and everyone would laugh at it rather than getting too serious. You cant beat a good laugh.

At least that's what I would do in your situation.

Well I am trying my hand again at concentrates, BHO (uhhh ) wax? budder....well I just have my Pyrex plate in a warm water bath and just heating and purging.....let it cool....heat and purge...I don't have any vacuum purging ability yet ..... but I have clients who are ok with the "lesser" quality and I may take Anti's recipe and just turn them into BHO cap's for the mother-in-law's chemo treatment. I am really just practicing and reading to try and perfect my methodology.

What's your process to purge? Are you just heating & whipping/scraping?

I've got a pump-n-seal I'll be using to try a vacuum deal this time around..

Yeah my "process" right now is real basic, heat and purge...cool...(rinse and repeat) I may do that through tonight and again tomorrow morning. Then remove this "batch" place it on some parchment paper, clean the Pyrex, and start "taning" the rest of the bag of USD I have (I only used 1/4 of the bag so far)....

What is your "pump - n - seal"? Arminus has told me he use's a hand pump that he got in a auto parts store for doing brake jobs, then just attach it to the snap-tight lids that some of these Pyrex storage containers have, then slowly heat....hand pump and creat a vacuume, BOOM ...vacuum purging.....I cannot afford that medical quality one with a built in heater, air vacuum chamber with pressure gauge, I think their around $1,000???

I have a Foodsaver also but I never thought it could "purge" my BHO concentrate? How would that work?

Here's what I'm thinking about using:

It works atop a normal Mason-style jar. You pump it with your hand a bunch of times, and as you're doing so, you're pushing the air out of the jar. (That air builds up back in the pump, until let you let a release, at which point you hear a reassuring "Pssssshhh")

I'm not sure which Foodsaver you have, or which I have, or if there are multiples, or if only some have this feature/doodad or what..

Mine has a little male port on it, same size to an airline you'd expect to see on an air pump in your garden..

I figure I'll see what kind of results I can get with the pump n seal, and then maybe I'll step it up with some more horsepower out of the foodsaver.

Heck, come summertime, I could use that lid sealer thingy for some pickles.
