Nice grow so far, I cant wait for the reports. Its how we come back from adversity that makes us the men we are. I have been interested in this strain and growing in coco so this thread has been very informative to me. Although I plan on using my 12 pack of blumats instead of hand watering but still the same rules apply. Anyways thanks. I hope medman hooks it up for your solid work as you deserve it bro. Im only saying this because others from the csg testers get 2 free packs of seeds for doing a tester and this is a better tester thread then a majority of the ones over there.

Very nice Mack you look like you got a pretty nice pheno there. I don't think any of mine looked like that very very nice.

I don't mind at all toss the pics up only makes the thread better.

Hey Mack did she preflower at all for you??

Pre flower, yes.. Both male and female's shown pre flower's mid week 4 of veg from seed. females first for me.
Somehow all the #1 and #2 tags fell off so I can't tell which was which. lol.

and like mike said, low nutrients and keep your pH stable, these RKS don't like all over the shop.
Can't wait to see these skunks go for it in flower.

Ya Mack I think that plant you showed is definitely the rks#1 because I haven't seen a pheno like that.

On my rks2 my males and females both showed when rootbound.

From what I have saw with the rks#1 they look be very nice looking plants. These plants definitely are finiky and don't like heavy feedings.

Hey gsp BLUMATS is the way to go hand watering in a tent in 3 gal smarties sucked.

I would also reccomend using smaller pots with coco not 3 gal smarties. That is just overkill I have noticed such a difference between my veg plants in coco versus these plants.

My veg plants rooted out the beer cups they are in and I watering them 2 times a day and they are healthy as can be and drink water like nobody's business.

That is a big issue I ran into to because when I flipped my plants to flower I just up potted them to 3 gal smarties after being in 4x4 square pots.

So the plants never had the time to build a good root system in the smarties so everything I was putting in the pots the plants weren't using at all.

I wouldn't even feed my plants heavy either I was going by house & gardens feed chart just my plants didn't have the root system to thrive in the 3 gallon smarties.

I will sum this post up by saying your root system is everything in coco if you don't let it build it will not be able to handle the constant watering and feedings.

Peace mike

Ya Mack that is why I said yours looks like the rks1 because none of mine looked like yours. Mine were more leafy and wanted to stay squat.

Either way they both should be nice smoking plants mine are very very greasy. I have one that is very purples out and has dreadlocks coming out the top with nice fat calyxes but she isn't the best yielder. I'll have some pics up today or tomorrow most likely.

S2 your plants look great! I wish I kinda did a soil grow so I could of showed these in a different light. But if we aren't trying new things we will never find what works best and tend to get bored with growing especially in promix.

Soil grows for me are no brainers and was getting boring for me. Coco even though I kinda screwed it up has got me excited to grow again.

I mean I love growing either way because plants are so pretty but was getting bored with just promix water and leave them alone for a few days till they need water again routine.

cheers mike,,the pheno in pic3 ,,i was debating whether to let her go longer but after reading medmans stuff ,i felt it was prudent to cut her at 73 days maybe if i get the same pheno again then i may let her go for a week longer just to see,,,new crop in at the weekend with roadkill sk no2 testers [batch of five again],,s2

Nice S2 I'll be watching your next thread to. I might not be able to run the phenos I am gonna reveg for a little bit. Takes a little while to get them perked up again to get cuts from them.

I might just let them go except for the roadkill burnt tire baby puke smelling one. That will most likely get a reveg. It will all come down to early smoke test which I'll try to reveg.

I have so many other genetics to run through and limited on space so one of them needs to stand out for me to keep it. I am sure the smoke will be great I just don't like leafy plants personally.

Who knows the clones could show totally different expressions we will see.

Nice work s2 mine still haven't gotten pulled yet! Mine will be coming down later tonight. I had a small little wake up call yesterday when I was trimming my lime cookies my brother stopped by the house and told me he could smell the funk all the way out by my front door when he came up!!

Yikes and I was trimmer behind 3 shut doors and in the same room my carbon filter was in and that og/minty funk travled all the way out to my front door. Needless to say I will only be trimming late nights anymore no more day time trims for me that was enough of a wake to realize that luckily it was my brother that came to my door.

Peace mike

oh yeah,,damn right mike,,i and my wife had chest infections and had not been out for a few days,,,when i eventually went out [ 80ft in the sky] and got outside the building i could smell that stench and not just lightly,,it was then i realized my ducting had come slightly away from my can filter,,quickly rectified and never forget "murphys law",,lol,,s2

Ok so today we are in the 70 odd day mark. I will be trying to harvest all 3 rks phenos tonight!

I would be doing it right now but had a wake up call while harvesting some other plants so I will be no longer harvesting during the day. My filter I guess just doesn't keep up with the funk when the plants are out of the tent. Worst of all one of my rks is the smelliest out of the whole group of plants already harvested. It has a roadkill burnt tire funk to it and good lord when my heat kicks on and humidity rises in the room the filter has troubles keeping up with just those 3 left in the tent along with a blue dream clone.

Before I flower out my next round of plants things to change better ducting new cloth for my carbon filter or atleast wash it really good bleach and clean the tent and most of all let off a fogger to kill off fungus gnats the nasty bastards that they are.

I have already tossed all used coco will not be re-using it do to the gnats fabric pots will get put to the side and new plastic pots will be used. Thinking fabric lots stay to soggy and wet and only helps promote fungus gnats when in coco.

The flower tent is getting revamped with light proof ducting totally cleaned and getting rid of the gnat issue that I have never had to battle before they are resilyant little bastards.

Stay tuned tomorrow will be uploading pre-harvest shots hopefully I can get them all cut by tonight.

Peace mike
