when using these tables what is your ultimate idea for lighting,1000w or 600s I read that the system was designed for either just curious as to the whys and whats of both and what type of reflector,im thinkingof using the lr 1000s what do you think?

just finished building the box and cutting holes in the coroplast. I'm about to cut the legs how many inches per foot of drop is ideal? it looks like 1" per foot but its hard to tell by the pics. thanks

i will usually build the table level, then shim up each respective leg. u want the highest corner furthest from the res, then the closest cornr next, then the corner on the same side as the highest corner then the rez lowest corner rest on the res.

another way to measure is use a level and make sure the bubble is well past the 'level" mark on every corner away from the res. hes a lil image

a is lowest d is highest. the rez and the front of tables are plumb with each other like the pics. its good to leave 2 feet between each table,

i like the fact 95% of the material needed can be bought at a harware store, epsecially in the grow ripper capital, bc, or the paranoia captial, manitoba, where this system was pioneered,

becuase ive always grown supercrop style, ive always followed a couple easy steps to maintain optimal conditions,

1- f-1 hybrid mother from seed, no c-1 mothers

2- take 4 times more cuts then needed from the strongest leads

3- pic the first 50% of cuts that start growing in the clone tray (dip in miticide)

4- root these elite clones in 3 inch rockwool (dip in fungicide)

5- pick the first 50% that start growing in the 3' rw (dip in neem oil) neem acts as a nice anti-transpirant amongst being a pestcicde for going into brighter places


6- transplant into medium of choice, in this case 5 inch baskets

this makes for identical plants, identical vigour, identical yield.

if you grow big trees and 1 weighs half of what it should due to stress becuase of weakness it sux, especially when they weigh up to 2 plus pounds.

i would rather use up lil material in the beginning to get it right then lose a pound or two come harvest. plus i usually have the extras back ups from the other 75% of cuts not used to go to other grows or as a back up plan in case i muck up anything,

I would also like to know, (if you dont mind sharing) what feeding regiment and nutes and with nft does the solution run continuously through the system? I did a system simular to this but it was more ebbn flow style and I like the system but could never get the yeilds that I wanted so Im wondering if i pushed the nutes through continuously with a bigger air pump

nice sick set up MedMan big fan of all ur differnt set ups , like how u pick the best of the best, this is something I would like to do but dont have the space I just try to go with the most vigorous , gonna be trying to teach my apprentice the tables once he gets a handle on the dirt.........

i feed them advanced nutrients 3 part and soon to be 2 part plus b52, h202, willards water, mother earth tea bloom, big bud, overdrive, sensi cal, loca kola(organic carbo load), cannabolic, potassium silicate, superthrive in veg only, and kind bud anf if not cannaminos, and sometimes bud blood subject to the grow

i have recipes posted on my blogspot. i run water 24 hours every res change. my recipe usually starts off at 1250 ppm and depending on stage of growth let it climb up to 1800ppm subject to strain and week of flowering especially,

so when feeding these plants does all the neuts go thru the feeder lines and then down to the bottom of the tableoris there another way to feed the film so to speak?
