Mazzar-I-Shariff and Lebanese

I've always been curious as to why Mazzar was considered a great breeding strain. Is the reason purely because it's a uniform landrace Indica?

I've never heard anybody rave about the stone or taste of Mazzar which is why I asked. Sadly, my fridge at my Mazzar freebies. Or girlfriend threw them out :fight:

I grew 5 pack of Gypys Mazar freebies last summer, only two popped I gave one to a friend who stuck it in his greenhouse and I kept mine outside in the water at the edges of a pond in a threegallon pot filled w/ a mix of coco-coir compost and other organic amendments. I was away working for several weeks so it got minimal care-sucked water up from the pond and used up the nutrients in the soil. At the end of Sept the nights were begining to get frosty, the plant was short and just begining to show it's sex. I was already smoking some of my earlier Mighty-mite crosses and the later ones were all cut so I brought the Mazar in and put it under a 1000w hps and started feeding it Advance Nutriets Organic Bloom and Iguana Juice w/ an aereated compost tea. It finished on Dec 5 at 4ft tall and yeilded 75 gms of loose fluffy bud. The taste after a 21/2 week flush was sweet and orangey , very pleasant. The high was nice as well 1 or two bong-hits ere enough to do the job and the high is euphoric all though a couple more hits and the couch becomes inviting. I grew Sweetooth and Sweetooth X Stuporsonic and Endless sky in the same room at the same time, they all yeilded heavier and their buds were nice and tight. In short Mazar is great smoke but I would never grow it again due to the low yeild and long flowering period. ( Unless I move to Spain or Afganistan)

Looking good. I have some MIS running atm. Just a heads up they don't stretch much once you switch to flower. I can't wait to see how they turn out. I want to compare the difference from 2 different seed companies.

Hi', from my experience, MIS offered me a strawberry phenotype last year outdoors. The fruity aroma is already in the vegetative stage with a smear on the stems ... :)
