hi it could be from the erea but its not MW .
I first smoket the mauie in erly 80s grew some to was one i wont forget lost the line been trying to find her since and was gifted some real mauie lines 2 or so years ago now from a mauie nativa who i have much respect for.
He told me a lot of the maui lines history now before greenharvest (think its called ) basicly the dea in choppers started looking for mj grown on the ilands they the hawians grew sativas now the mauie wowie was a sativa line as was blood and other old hawian lines once the mauie sativa grew up to 6 meters saw an old documentry with an ex nam vet wont go into detail as the ilands are small places some info could well put people into positions of risk so will keep it simple he grew trees and smoket a lot sold the rest wild man lol.
After the choppers started to fly they the hawians had to grow shorter squat plants and why a lot breed there lines shorter and why its so hard to even find old hawian lines growing there now but i hope soon they will fly no more and there sats will agine grow as god ment them to be grown in paradise.

I never got to smoke the Maui Wowie, just wasn't around, and, my attempts to locate seeds, indicate it's now a 'lost strain', only available as a hybrid ??
