What up, fellow southern NE mofos?

It's been a minute since I've posted around these parts, but been lurking. Some nice pics thrown up by some old faces, and some new faces as well!

Nice to see some more CT folks around here, even if y'all are from 203. Reppin 860 bitches!!!

Where were y'all fuckers at when decrim was dying a slow ass death in our state legislature??? JK, we didn't have long to do anything anyhow. Hope you guys start following NORML CT for updates on he 2010 legislative session. We're far behind all the rest of the NE states, we need to catch up!

So I figured I'd throw some of my pics into the mix!

Got the fuckin borg when that heat wave came a couple of weeks ago Got this shit called Azatrol, it's worked damn well so far. Dunked the bastards right into a bucket of solution. Think it burned the leaves closest to the light, it's gotten much worse since I hit em up with the azatrol real quickly, too. You'll see which ones.

~O.G.A.~'s Zombie Virus This plant's my favorite, this is only 5 1/2 weeks in!!!

Thanks, MP! Once I saw the bastards, it was WAR! 3 days after I saw the 1st signs, they got the dunk. Thankfully the temps have gone down and the RH has gone up, so the environment is working in my favor now as well.

All the best,
TG

Back again...

Back again...

Well I'm back for a bit, left all my cuts outside when I left and they are doing rather well for the season. The desert sun burned out my eyeballs with 12% humidity and 90 degrees but I have this great new grow spot on some land my old man passed on to me I'll put it up on the next page...It's full of 8 foot high scrub oak and rocks.I can just drive my water tank to the top of the hill and open her up.It takes all 10 cylinders to get it up, believe it..My best to all the east, Chaco.

Thar she blows!!! Good luck finding this spot, not that anybody cares but with lots of water and the pounding sun you can grow some massive mold free plants.Been fishing lots this last couple days, the other day was like an aquarium, dead calm and you could just walk on the stripers, my kids were all wound up....

Whoo, eye surgery? That doesn't sound like fun at all. Hope it heals up nice and easy for ya, Chaco!

Pretty ass scenery, man! Can't say I'm envious of those temps and RH, dude. I like seasons and all, but only 4 a year, not 2 a day! Summer in the day and winter at night, no sir! Not for me.

Nice sized plants for this early in the season, too! That I AM jealous of :D

All the best,
TG

Hey, good to see ya, Chaco, good to hear you're able to slay a few fish before your outta here. Blues just rolling in, and expecting bigger bass next wk. :D
Those are big buckets to be transporting. :yoinks:

Gotta crap load of cuts to put out myself. They've been under 18 hr. light, scared they'll start flowering, then vegging if I put em out now. Maybe a wk of outdoor/ indoor action to get em used to it.

thatguy, how to beat down the borg! :beat-dead
Looking good, despite the fuggers!

Peace NE

ee, lookin pretty damn good, man! Which one is that?

BTW, that K2 is some pretty good shit, it won the cannabis cup at the NY harvest fest last year, outta 23 strains! Don't know if it was GN's K2 or not, tho.

i am danbury area, pretty boring though

You ain't gotta tell me! I was just out there last night at Ives st, at this little fukkin hole in the wall Billy Baloney's. What a shithole, I feel bad for my boy, his band usually plays much larger venues than that!!!

Sure seemed to be one popular ass club around the corner, tho, all sorts a broads all over the damn place.

All the best,
TG

Its the K2 so far it's doing well, although since I am using FF nutes I burned em a little with the tiger bloom but it seems to be doing fine. also got some big bud going and its suffering tremendously from copper def. The K2 is from nirvana.

Would love to go to harvest fest! Knew somone who went last year and said they had a blast.

Tg, sorry to hear about the borg arrived. Sucks, but controllable if you pay attention. Not sure about the azatrol, seen at the shop, but always worrysome about new stuff killing off to many leaves. how was the leafs the following days? loose any? plant slow down?

when you dunk the plants, it helps to put a wetting agent or a few drops of dish soap. Gotta get full coverage. the first sign of spider mites i dunk, let it dry, then dunk again. wait 3 days & dunk again, wait another 3 days dunk again. then wait a week and dunk again.

trick is to get them within there life cycle so they cant reproduce again. Eggs can say dormant in soil for up to 2-3 years. Clean your twine, clean your stakes clean your walls. Remove all dead leaves on the ground and on top of your soil.

If you keep your leafs for hash, becareful where you store it. Freeze it or store it in and airtight once its nice and dry. they can & will return from the leaf material.

depending on how far they got along, i may just remove those leafs totally. as long as its not a total plant coverage. This way the infested leaf is gone, and the next time i inspect i will notice any new white speckles on leaves, and know to dunk again.

i just use "spectricide garden insect killer same day harvest" from lowes, neem oil and sm-90. the key is My leafs never die with this recipe. Some fresh pistols may die and slow a little, but it recovers better then anything else if tried. Malathon, volick oil, smc, and 2 others that where $250 a quart, this creamy white stuff that was an ovacide as well. The thing was they killed my leaves, killed my plants and poisoned everything then myself when i smoked it.

If i remember correctly, the spectricide's half life is over once it dries. Neem is allergenic to some. the sm-90 im not sure on.

Its damn near impossible in bloom to iradicate them. It may even slow the plant to much in harvest and end up with a shitty product.

If its late late in harvest, ill pull the plant early. cause i know it will continue to spread. and if you dip 45 or so days into harvest, u increase the risk of rot, or end up with funky tasting herb from the neem. So sometimes you gotta sacrifice one or 2.

1 tbsp per gal of spectricide & neem oil, then like 2 tbsp of sm-90 per 5 gal bucket. If you cover the bucket and keep out of light and excess heat the solution should last about a week, or at least 2 dunks. removing any leaf matter from the solution prolongs it life. then maybe freshen up the solution after a little bit.

The spectrcide stuff is pyrethrin based, the neem sticks to them and suffocates them with the pyrethreum mixed in. the sm-90 wicks the solution. Makeing sure when the plant is submerged give it a good bucket fucking with the plant.

Take a peice of cardboard, bucket lid, rigid piece of plastic. put a slice in the cardboard from one side to the middle. at the middle, where the cut is,cut a small round whole equivalent to your basic stem size. place the stem through the cardboard via the slice till its on top of the pot. this way when you flip the plant over it will deflect your coco from falling into the dipping solution. Makes alot less of a mess.

does the trick till i bring them back from somewhere else in the garden.

enjoy those ZV and dont sleep on those Spider mites, then can and will destroy your garden if u slack.. I know all to well. The key is to hit them over and over till all the eggs hatch, which is at different stages, and meanwhile killing them before they reproduce again. I'll bet the house that one dose of azatrol or anything out there will kill them in one shot. They hide way to easily. But they will reappear, when they do start the regime again.

didnt mean to babble on so much, but seriously ,mites suck untill you learn to how to fight them. They still suck after wards, but much less...... :) B-safe

What up, gman?

Thanks for the advice, and the info!

Thankfully the azatrol worked like a mofo! Like you said, gman, some pistils died off, and they stopped growing for almost a week, but no leaf die-off!!! Not to mention, no sign of the borg returning yet!!!

Big thanks to you, bro, on that dunking advice ya gave me. Worked like a charm, and was WAY faster and easier than sprayin the bastards!!!

Hey rudedude!!

All the best,
TG
I'm going to be moving in the next few weeks, so I'm going to throw out a lot of equipment, and everything I keep is getting a dunk in an extremely toxic amount of bleach solution.

Tg, ya dunking is the way to go. But seriously, there are alot of claims out there of one shot solutions. the thing is, they dont kill the eggs. the eggs hatch usually every 3-10 days. So a followup is so important to wipe out the newly hatched bastards. check for the white egg specks on the underside of the leafs.

Man i hate those spider mites. i just had a small infestation as well about a month ago. had about a 3-4 month stretch and didnt see them. to cold for them.

Anycase good luck on the move. you do need some more room to do what you really wish.
