High peoples. I couldn't agree more about welcoming spring MP, we still have a boatload of snow in western mass. At least it's in the mid thirties and sunny today, that will help with the melt off. Make it a stoned day people....

hello all!

HL, looking beautiful as usual.

MP, I kind of like the cold weather it makes for perfect temps on the indoor garden. But the nice weather always has that positive effect on people.

I got S99 brewing up in the room right now I post a couple pics soon, I also have another MTG but you already know what that looks like. I will also be cutting down my Nev Haze on Wednesday and I just can't wait.

Be safe

Fat stems, I removed the leaves even though they were healthy at the bottom.

Good morning Stonerz. I guess that I never really introduced myself. I'm from western mass and I'm an old fart, been growing bud since 1980. I was growing with an 400 hps until summer of '07 when I had too many chemdog ds growing and the funk got me popped. Lucky for me the only results of getting popped were losing all my equipment and my moms (I was growing about 8 varieties at the time) and I had to stop growing for a year. Another lucky thing for me was that though I lost my moms the cops left me all my seeds!

Now I have a mini garden set up under a 150 watt hps and I've been growing from seed (and making more, lol). As far as strains go most of them are crosses that I made and many of those are crosses of another cross that I made in honor of a close friend who died a few years ago. He loved his weed so I crossed Strawberry Diesel and Doubledog and I call it Ed after my friend. Since I made that cross I have crossed Ed woth other varieties that I had and mostly that is what I'm growing now along with a few other strains that I had beans from. Last count I had seven varieties going in my mini flowering room, lol, and more in my teeny tiny veg area. I'm not great at posting pics (computer illiterate) but here are pictures of Panama Ed (panama red x ed), Con Ed (Conquistador x Ed) and SSH Ed.

Rudedewd great garden and story, mind elaborating on that panama red? Was is from seed? I've gotta be one of the younger people on here and old school strains have always intrigued me as I never got to experience them. Me and my friends were lucky enough to get some legit afghan hash some time ago, that's as old school as Ive gotten :joint::joint:

Aeroguerilla cool to have ya join, any pics homie?

Jim Dunlop great looking girls you have there, how much longer they have to go?

That goes likewise for you deft, great looking plant.

Here's what I have going on right now, 2 6s, scrog, pics taken a couple of days ago when they were 16 days in... hit em early with the koolbloom and I think that it is making them form up a bit quicker than they usually do for me, either way the extra K couldn't of hurt... same stuff as last time with a couple new flavors, east coast sour d, kk straw cough, pure kush, white widow, mcfly (c99 x spacequeen), banana og kush, and finally grandaddy purp....

lune, looking great. u make me wanna pull out the trellis netting again. I almost forgot how nice of a canopy it creates. u said u hit them with some KB, was it the liquid or powder? i think the liquid is like 0-10-10, the powder is like 5-45-30 or something like that. i believe the liquid was for early flower, powder was for mid-late flower. which one u use? i never used the liquid, this is why im curious.

Looking good. now i wanna bust out the netting for next batch. got 20 days to decide.

Thanks Gman... this is actually my first time using the net, I do like it though. It's a great way to control overgrown plants lol... Around day 12 or so I hit them with .2ec of the liquid koolbloom, right before the budlets start to form... I might do it once more... then around week 4 to 5-6 depending on strain Ill use the powered stuff, same application... Using the KB I've gotten a pretty good increase in bud density that I never got before, it's good stuff fo sho... :joint:

I love the trellis, alot, best yields i have gotten. but then i started getting problem with mites. and when the plants is intertwined around the net it's near impossible to remove the plant with damaging.

I need to be able to remove the plants from the area in case of a mite attack, i need to pull the plant for dipping purposes. dipping the plant is the only way i found to really control and ALMOST eradicate the mites.

ohh yeah when u use the powder dont go over 200 ppm (.3 ec i believe) atleast that's what i found. also with the powder dont use it too late, KB seems it can leave some chem taste in the final product if not flushed. atleast i believe this to be true at this point

So unfortunately no trellis for me for now. looking good thou. YOU WILL have a grreat harvest from the number of tops u got in there :joint:

Ouch man mites are the worst... thank god Ive never ahd to deal with them... I'm just now getting rid of some aphids and thrips, though. They aren't bad but there are still some lone survivors... been using sm90 and safersoap/neem as a preventative measure and they are well under control... No real damage is being done at all... Hopefully over time I'll be able to rid myself of them... I've also been told before not to go too hard with the powder kb, have yet to test the boundries... I figure anything so concentrated that they can't put it in liquid form doesn't need to be applied heavily... :joint:

take care...

Aw-right, new blood! :D Good to have you here, Jim Dunlop, Aeroguerilla, gmanwho, & Rudedewd! (Rudedewd, I know you been checkin' in for awhile, but cool to have your personality comin' thru.)
Lune , very nice setup! I'm always tempted to net 'em up, but like to be able to inspect everything, and like gman said, any problems and your kinda fawked, so I'll just keep LSTing my individual plants to maintain that even canopy.
Deft, damn dude, that bush looks like 'Seymour'! :biglaugh: What is it?
Gratephul, don't be shy, post up that MTG! You think I remember? :kos:

Looking good peoples. Lune the Panama Red is from seed, I was gifted some a few years back from someone who swears it is the real deal and I think it might be. It is definitely an old school sativa at least with a flower time of between 14-18 weeks, it is fairly potent but not overpowering. The plants are not as large as some sativas and the seeds are the smallest that I've ever seen. The Panama Ed is a bit frostier but finishes in 9 or ten weeks, the buds still mostly look sativa but they are denser than the panama red buds which tend to be on the fluffy side.
