Won't really know what's what til April, and even then I bet they won't have it together. 
I don't forsee a lot of "caregiving", they're pushing it all to the dispensaries to make the most $ and keep things from getting out-of-hand.

having a doctors recommendation to use mj will make it legal for you to have/use/posses mj...thus making it legal for you to have under state law. no state law enforcement should arrest you as longer as your not over the allowable limit.

I think tocksick is rite. If someone has a doc recommendation, an mmj card AND there grow is compliant that should keep anyone from being prosecuted on state level.

There are many cases in other states where people were following the law to the letter, and were still arrested by state or local police, and in some cases they were not even able to use MMJ as a defense...
In Cali enforcement varies form county to county, and town to town..
They are adding beds to the jails, and adding vehicle forfeiture laws... You better be ready to defend your "debilitating condition" and "bona fide doctor patient relationship" in court.... ie get a lawyer.

I agree tha LEO's can charge you, but in reality any LEO can charge anyone with any crime they want to and it's up to the court and prosecutor how they will proceed with any case. But if someone is within the rules and comliant they shouldn't be charged with any crime. What I think is most important is the "norm"? From what I know in most situations when LEOs were involved they didn't charge folks that are within state law. But in reality this is new to me since I haven't had a mmj card yet and I'm not a lawyer so not an expert.
In regards to those 2 cases you put as examples. The first one is a completely different situation since it was a group of people with multiple dispensaries, several grows, and weight.
The second case was a good example for what your saying but that man should not have been charged so he got screwed. But I think it ended up working out. The outcome wasn't very clear and I just scanned through it

well since an oz is already decrim unless you have more than that on you you cant really get arrested for having that much or less in the first place so having a lawyer for something as small as that seems rather pointless imo, if you wanna grow then maybe but ill tell you
i was a card holder for a couple years in CO and LEO does not typically arrest law abiding patients, most of my friends had their cards and none of them had lawyers or ever got into trouble with having mj as long as they were card holders, only time will tell what the MA leo will do

I'm pulling in cold outdoor air through a Dustshroom filter and using two 12,000 BTU portable A/C units.
After this crop I'm going to invest in a 30,000 BTU mini split so I can add more light and still run the CO2 through the summer.

Sounds to me that its going to be more like RI.... Seems from that ^ there will be caregivers and only have to be of the age 18 opposed to 21 like in most states. As far as conditions go to get your card it looks like a straight (copy/paste) from RI's bill. But once again nobody will know until they work out all the kinks and its in play....
