That or Bin, they both list as odor sealers. The vapors from either will kill off anything til they dry. :D

I would first paint it with a block filler primer/paint for masonry, then paint it again with Killz latex stainblocker oderless paint.

Just made the jump recently and it seems like the top brands are Canna,Cyco,Roots organic. I'm sure there are other one's but from what i've read these seem to be the most popular. Have you checked out blumats? I've been running them for over a year and make's the garden real hands free... Plus coco need's to be watered often so some sort of automated irrigation seems like a must.

TB, I've been using botanicare 5kg coco bricks for years now and love them, I've always hand watered tho, if you can't be around your plants as often you def gonna need some automatic timers feeding your plants, coco loves food. best of luck

From pump to 1/2 inch line to a manifold with 1/4 inch lines coming out. Start at 1 minute once a day once roots are established. Then, you can start increasing to 2-3 times depending on container size. Botanicare works great, and its cheap. Canna's a little higher quality. With drippers you get less work and better results. PM me if you have any questions.

I use the big cocotek bricks. Love them they are ph neutral and don't need a flush. I recently got the botanicare brick cause they were out of the other, and I found I had to fudge around with the ph to get it right. I set my nute mix at 5.8 in a 5 gal bucket and then drop in the dry coco brick to expand and charge. With the cocotek the ph stays the same after I add the brick, with the botanicare it kept dropping to 5.5 - 5.6 so I had to keep adjusting. Add some ph up and mix till it's at 5.8, 5 min later had to add more, 5 min later more. Took an extra 15 min to get it stable. Not a big deal but I'll go for the cocotek next time.

Haha damn, the coco question got everyone chiming in... Fuck, am I really the last person still doing organic soil? Well coco it is, lol. I've for the whole cyco line (won at a raffle) so I'll probably grab cyco coco just for shits n giggles.

Ya handwatering 50+ ladies a day is a fucking task, let me tell u..... So irrigation is a must, ya I know all about blumats - been peeping that thread for a couple years now, just not sure if that's what I wanna do. Was thinking real fucking simple, drum & pump to 1" main, 1/4" runs off main into a drip ring. Run pump 2-3x a day @ 1-2 min each time.

Oh ya I'm so blazed... Reason I got on here was to say .... WOOOAH! Lucifer OG tastes fucking deliciouszzz

Chaco I see why u were calling it sfv pheno, it tastes verrrry similar to my boys sfv cut. How long do u take her? I'm just turning amber @ 98 days!? Hehe, the one I'm smoking now I chopped around 89 days & she was cloudy & milky triched. The candy Chem is pure stink, lol.

TB, you've never grown until you get the joy of handing feeding 50+ plants, ,lol.....that is the whole reason i started growing out big plants, I couldn't stand feeding 50-70 3 gallons with 12-15 different strains, shit just gets chaotic and confusing, good luck with the automatic feeders, the more simplistic set up you choose the less problem you create for yourself later.

TB some advice for someone just starting out with coco - before you hook up any sort of dripper system make sure the roots are well established in the pot. Once they are water away as much as you want but until the plants have some strong feet go easy on em, shouldn't take long tho...

So yeah, it's fuckin hot out. Summer growing... it is what it is... here's to hoping that it rains a bunch and cools off soon...

Yes they do look quite different but oddly enough their finished aroma is quite similar I guess... there seem to be two cuts circulating, if you've followed the cookie thread they are the icmag cut and the ogkbreath cut. The icmag cut leans more to the og and the ogkbreath (the one otto and I are showing) leans more to the durban. The highs on each should reflect this... Then there is the animal cookies which is the icmag cut backcrossed to a fire og kush male again... Should also mention that I've noticed a bit of foxtailing on mine, attributing this to the summer heat... All I know is I am a fan of this herb. Smells like you stuck your nose in a cookie jar and tastes like this mints. Immediate headchange when smoking it, and the high cuts through anything you've smoked previously (hash/oil incl.)

:wave:heyyooo!!
ive been growing in coco for years now. and ive tried most brands. i started in canna coco.. its great right out of the bag, for that reason its easier. but one bag is over 20$. and you get about twice as much w 5k bricks.
lately ive been using 5k bricks of GH coco tek. its about 10$ a brick, and its dehydrated, so id always hydrate them the day before(i charge it w 5ml/g of novagrow and calmag).
botaicare also makes 5k bricks, but theyr about 17$ a brick. and the only difference i found between the boticare brick and GH brick, is the GH coco tek is grittier. both brands were always clean. ( always tested the runoff w an EC meter)
i handwater with flora nova, calmag 5 ml/gal. works great in coco. :D

its been awhile since i stopped by. it looks killer in here as always.

coastal, those are some killer looking nugs. i really wanna puff on them cookies!!!
