Anyone ever try using solar technology to just say FU to the electric co.? For the last couple years I've been interested but not owning a home has held me back. I know people set up big fields of them and just sell the energy back to the power companies for a 1/4 of what they charge but seems like people are starting to be able to profit off it. I sure hope to see some huge advances in this part of technology as time goes by....Imagine be able to buy 15K worth of equipment and being able to run a 10K for next to nothing a month, you make your $$$ back on the first harvest basically and never have to worry about paying them again.

I've studied the project to great length and I just couldn't afford the array and inverters needed.Maybe six yrs ago I was on this looking for a solar pump for a 400ft well and to power that kind of lift was a major juice drainer but you could do it for like 5k.I just ended up having the power company run a hard line to my place for about $4500.Whenever it snows the power goes out, when its hot the power burns out but the transmitter is real old and more people are pulling from that old grid everyday.I basically had to become an electrician to learn the 12v solar trade, its easy as hell but.I think you could do it now but you'll want to have $$.It's an easy job if you want a career!!...Anyway, Satans own is holding hard this summer, this plant flips me out...

Day 20 over here things are starting to shape up, here are a couple things.

Green crack bush in a 32 gal.

Pure kush. In veg this one grew nicely and seems pretty study for an og, after stretch it's a different story, eager to try the smoke from it.

Here's the cookies. This plant is def sturdy, bushed out it seems to want to grow all over the place though. I will say that it's a fast flowering plant right out of the gate, would be best in a sog

Thanks bro. It's the hprc/topanga canyon pure kush. This is my first run with it, not sure what to expect but I've heard it's pretty nice. Have you smoked it before?? Would love to know what the finished product is like. This one seems to grow much studier than the pure kush I grew last year... that one was also from the sfv not sure if they are one in the same but I don't think they are.

It's taking up about half of one 1k and is encroaching on another, kinda half in between 2 lights. Am souped that it doesn't need a day over 50 days to be done but also decided to take a break from the green crack after this one. Its structure doesn't really fit in well with all the chems and diesels that I like to grow. Grows like kksc in a way, bushy and a little bit sideways...

You did Candy Chem way beyond justice this run - Holy shit! That plant is like an octopus with gorilla arms of nug.

I have such a strong affinity for the candy chem, hows many days was she taken at?

I started cutting an oz a day at 71 days.Tomorrow will be 75 and I'm hoping to take the whole thing down but I'm not sure I'll finish...This one is soo big it might take a full 24hrs of cutting.This is my fav Chem, certainly.Some of the colas are ridiculous.I havn't hit the big ones yet but so far, no rot, no PM and a stench more like an overdone Sister with that Candy/mangoish undertone.I have another bigger one ready to take the place of this one I have now.Not one nanner on the whole plant either! She's an easy trim too.

Well kid, we're just about the same age.I feel like 100 on the outside but 19 on the inside.I think this phenomenon has been reported by many old Greek philosophers so I guess its not just me...My back is toast today, been trimming all morning so I'm having a quick break.A bit of redundancy here but if 20 or so tops that all look like this is redundant, I'll take it! This jobs going to take a bit longer than I'd figured but damn I'm stoked.
