Thanks for the advice everyone. That DTC99 looks nice and I like that she's a fat-ass. I tend to like a mellow stone not too racy so I don't know if the C99 influence might be too much though.

I think I'd like to get a couple strains for a more fruity one I was thinking of getting some blueberry. I heard the best breeder for that is DJ shorts but from reading threads on it, it seems like it's hit or miss with finding a good pheno in a pack. Anyone have experience with it?

I would love to get something on the funkier side too. Don't really know what's good in that department.

I checked out some Mr Nice stuff on Otto's advice. Shit is sure inexpensive enough to get a pack just for the heck of it. I like also that it doesn't take too long to finish her out.

Master, I would do yourself a favor and wait until someone you run into has a blueberry cut because finding one from a DJShort pack can be quite a trial.It may be the best spot to find a great blueberry but you'll be sorting through a bunch of junk mutant plants while you look.I ran 2 very expensive packs of Blueberry without finding a decent plant.The whole of IC can hate on me but they know it's true.His other stuff I havn't run but I believe it's easier to find good plants like F-13 or Grape Krush?? The DTC99 won't throw you into a headspin like a big haze, the C99 influence is much less than the Durban/Thai side.You'd find a bunch of nice plants without wasting too much time.Of course Mr Nice has the best stock but you can run into some giants.You might try BOG's lineup, the plants are hearty, finish fast and stink like hell.It's a tough choice but asking around is the best option, asking here esp if you are in the NE, our climate is a bit diff and you don't want a strain that will just rot out on you.A hazy Mr Nice strain or the DTC99 will do wonderfully up here in the humid warm weather that's on the way.Most folks just go the AK-47/White Russian route but if you're looking to ramp things up a bit, that's the wrong way to go, you'll end up with rot and great smelling buds that taste like charcoal....BCELL was growing a great Mandala Satori, looked like a great afghani with a great price...I'm going over to Seedboutique now, I was looking for a pack of Ace Orient Express yesterday but they were out of stock. Here's a plant I found from 3 magic seeds of Rez' SSSDH, this one is one of the best plants I've seen in a long time, 3 seeds, 3 females, all beautifull but this one is almost "the perfect plant"....

This is the same plant with the Nevs/Larry in the foreground.The plant is incredibly shaped, one big top with loads of lower branches all the same hieght around the middle.A roomfull of these would have you cutting for a month.....

I hear ya Chaco, I was just reading about Blueberry the other day and DJ has a thread in his forum that says the true blueberry line was to be discontinued because the male was lost. Surprised me cuz I'd been told and had read that the true BB line was the last worthwhile one left. The orig. BB line lost the male too. Makes ya wonder, what is Blueberry at this point?

I don't know if the Blueberry I have is from DJ but it is some great smoke. One of the few that gets me feeling euphoric. It's not a day wrecker in the usual sense but it is for me cuz I'll just lay down and listen to music for hours.

3 seeds, 3 females. Gotta like that. Especially when one of em kicks out hazed up sour spears like that. Looks like the kinda girl that'd do good spread out and tied down.

Absolutely, I think she's going to be my baby for awhile.You're right, finding a true blueberry from seed would be difficult.Colors would be easy to find but other than that some of the great blueberry cuts around might be the only way to have a great blueberry without searching for 5 yrs...maybe 3 , it took that long to find the right haze, I could have looked further but I'm not growing any younger.That "Hulk" plant we have down here is a nice blueberry kind of plant, has some big fat buds too, I'm just afraid to grow too much esp in the summer with the rot...

the key to finding the right dj bb is to make f2's and grow out a bunch of em.but the thing lots of heads get confused is that blueberry dosent taste like blueberry.For me the right pheno turns crazy purple has that euphoric buzz and has a sweet hashy/earthy flavor with slight fruity berryish undertones, it coats your palate every hit down to the roach.
there are however many blueberry tasting strains that dont actually have anything to do with blueberry or dj short.You have to want to explore those genetics i think or like CHACO said you'll find alot of small yeilding twisted mutants that wont be much use at all.But i'll tell ya what and stand by it 110% the right pheno of DJ's blueberry will hold it's own vs any sour diesel or og kush or anything.it's that good & if you have had it you would know it & never forget it.Looking stunning across the board in here as per usuall.I droped and broke my good camera so all I have is this shitty 7 mega pixle cannon Ive been using for a couple months and I cant stand the pic's I get from it so they are far and few between these days.Another gloomy rainy day round here but some larry/ sour mixed together in the bong And disc 2 of physical grafitti in the headphones should take care of that.be well east coast enjoy your "rapture day"

As far as blueberry goes, I have been reading a lot and it seems that Joey Weed has F2's made from what he says is from a cut that DJ gave him. I'm wondering if maybe this would be closer to the original. They're very inexpensive.

What a hell of a weekend I had, yesterday was an excellent day slept in, when i woke up Jaws was just starting so I of course watched it, it's one of my favorite movies ever. After Jaws went to a pub crawl and drank Budweiser cans and hit on a ton of beautiful women til they kicked us out. You know its almost summer when the girls have on those bobby weir short shorts and the tight tank tops, o so lovely. Although it would have been an even better night had I been able to actually pick up one of those beautiful girls, story of my life, lol.

Here is the Deadwood about 2 weeks into flower, this girl has look of the bubba maybe even more coated and the smell of grapefruit, it's almost as lovely as the women last night. I am expecting this plant to be just one giant cola, which worries me because it so dense and rot will have to be look for thoroughly once the buds start to develop. If it wasn't getting warm out it wouldn't worry me as much. After seeing the pic buddle threw up I am very excited to grow this girl....
