Quite frankly I love Kush, many of the BX's and outcrosses I've grown have been excellent, I've also smoked a bunch over the last few years in San Diego and the chunky shit these guys have would make you real happy, serious....I've also grown a bunch of crummy ones.:)The kush dominant plants in Melty's CC are cripplers, so are the sour dominant ones, however the greatest thing about this "hobby" is the fantastic variety of different bud with different qualities, sometimes I feel like I'm drowning in the depth of multiple faces of cannabis.Hazed up I guess!! I have this bottle of seeds I'm planning on growing out this summer to BX to my Nevs X CC....Enjoy the rain, spring is here!!

Thanks MeltingPOT.... battled two rounds of spider mites, but the Azamax in conjunction with Dr. Doom Fogger seems to have the little bastards at bay.. Azamax treatment every tuesday and fogger every friday... for a few more weeks. Updates to follow.

I did use one round of floramite sc on the first outbreak. I have been told that if you treat with floramite that you can't take your product to a dispensary, as they test for its presence. Does anyone know if this is true?

Chaco, your not lying about chunky buds that BBK was deceiving tiny plant coverved in leaves I thought i'd only pull a half per plant, well once i got down to work and trimmed them up I was pleasantly shocked. Now don't get me wrong the Bubba is great smoke but I am still in search of the OG kush I was smoking while I was out in Colorado, that shit left a lemon funk in your mouth like you wouldn't believe and the high was all their too. With all the million Og cuts today who the hell know which one I was smoking while i was their.....

whats going on gentlemen,

I've got a question for you guys has anyone else recently had issues drying buds? Normally 7-10 days hanging I can trim off the stalks and put into jars ready for curing. I understand the rain and melting snow makes the air wet but this seems crazy. Thats NL5xHaze I posted yesterday was hanging for 2 weeks and yesterday it seemed ready to jar up. Just to be safe i trimmed the buds off the stalked and lay them on a screen for another day. Well went into the room this morning and they were even more wet than yesterday. The drying room is completely dark and will admit kind of on the cold side 55F give or take a few. Should i add a fan or heater to the room to help dry them up or should I just be patience and wait?

Otto, at this point I would bump the temp to 70 and that should quicken things up because after this long if they stay in a "stems still won't snap" state the bud could suffer in quality.I do the same thing if something won't snap after 12 days or so, I put a dehum in the room and the temps go up and the bud snaps in a day or two.Here's a few seedlings of the 25 or so I have going, a nice big one and a tinker, together.The leaves are fat and leathery though and they have stiffened up since I switched the mix from a GH 3-2-1 to a 1-1-1, why, I have no idea but everything responded the same way, they just started growing meaner....

Chefro, Humidity in the drying room is only 40-45%, I just hooked up a heater and will see what that does. Buds all look fine and smokeable just too wet for my preference. I did also forget to mention that I hung the freshly cut BBK's in the same room, duh! that couldn't have helped.

Those Heri's look exactly like I imagined, whose Heri is that one?I still remember my Dirty Harry cut, that was from 20 seeds but it was just a random pic all the plants were too strong for my sativa sensibilities, they were half grapefruit too!!I remember sitting in the desert around 11 am soo dry mouthed racing a dirtbike around the edge of my fuel range, fanny pack full of Dirty Harry and papers, only 1 liter of water, stoked...The seedlings are all chemdd X Nevs, they were real lanky and goofy , then I topped them and changed the mix for more P and they toughened right up.After talking with Pablos I'm going to hit the Ultimate Skunk 2 with the males, it'll almost be a BX since I let the chem dd cut go...Just found out I had another whole pack of Nevs/Mango, stoked!
