Nice one Sergio, the Casey Jones is a much sought after plant here in the NE.I had a pack awhile back, germed them all, every one popped through the rockwool then a brief spell of trouble made me ditch them, I was real bummed but also confused at the time.....I've developed some type of disorder that manifests itself in my needing more and more lamps for my plants in vert/horizontal combos, the results are great.I just installed an 8" exhaust that's allowing me to hang vert bulbs all over without worrying about the heat.I have 5 plants in flower at the moment, all of them are big in 7gal min of coco. This sativa I'm growing in rock, pinned into a corner with 2, 600's overhead and 2 vertical, she loves it.I'm running her straight up, untopped because the verts help to load up the sides. My Nevs has 1000W vert on one side, 600 on another and 1200 above.I also moved an ultimate skunk into the room this morning and she's about 4ft wide and 3ft tall on day 2 of 12/12.I guess I'm kind of overpowered but I love to grow big plants, it's my hobby.I've been working on 2 monster Skunks and 1 triple Kush in a 20gal coco container. The workload has been much easier for me with fewer giant plants and loads of light.I took a bunch of pics with the lamps on and if you've made it this far into my narrative, you must be a lumen junkie too!!!...........
Ha!! Wrong picture kief smoker!!!Here's my sativa, the plant above is the ancient Nevilles, behind the yellow curtain she is a rather distictive plant with very dark, smoky haze quality.I know she'll do 120 easy, she's the only plant not in at least 7gal of coco, she's in 1gal.
The 2 sativas are very different but here's the Ultimate Skunk we all grow, just done to perfection in the coco.I just started flushing earlier and with the help of Eagle 20 I pulled a nice pile when I cut this thing down yesterday.I'm just rambling on , but I'm really wondering , in this age of conservation and recycling and grams/watt are there any other light junkies that just want monster plants ripened to perfection due to no lack of lumen power??? You can see my crazy rigs from these pics...
This is a new room I built and it will be flowering 2 plants in a 4x7 area. The Triple kush is in back and the Ultimate Skunk is in front. There are supplemental 250's, 1 MH and 1 HPS, in the back, 1000W in a cooltube overhead and a 600 or 2 verticals hanging in cooltubes.the giant ecsd project wasn't feasable in this situation so I chopped her down and stuck with these.I think I can really load these plants up if all goes well.I've re-vamped my whole air circulation/scrubbing systems in hopes of making things uncomfortable for PM....
Everyday I start about 2:30am, drink up the coffee and try and rework the gardens until at least 7.I almost have today off so I'm posting up my marijuanamania confessions.... There's always something to tweak, something to wash, something to cut and then there's the smoking, I have an assistant to keep my hash bowl lit.
I'm not sure which one it is, it's the one that likes to fall over though, if that tells you anything.I have her tied to the ceiling. The only cuts I have now are a new ecsd and Larry and my Ultimate Skunk.I tossed everthing except the Kush and the Skunk. They've been treated with Eagle 20 so we'll see how they run, I'm fairly confident.Slowly, I'll be searching through my own seedstock to find some new plants.I have a Nevs/Mango cut coming this weekend.
Never a dull moment on this thread eh boys and girls!?!?!?
Sergio, beautiful casey, I am getting 6-8 ready to flower in about 4 weeks, your pics have inspired me!
Chaco, hope you enjoy that ultimate skunk grown to perfection in coco, an amazingly potent plant that's for sure.
TC, nice triple kush, frosty!
whodair, nice harvest of golf balls, that picture makes me wanna watch caddyshack
So i f'd up on the sssdhxjack she is actually at day 73 in the picture not 65, like it even matters.....I got a couple pictures of McFly, every time i peak into the tent this girl just moo's at me like a cow but reeks of pineapple......day 60
That McFly is a great looking plant, not so lanky or tall, just enough to load up with bud, she looks like a decent yielder too. Were all these done with 2k vert?? I just went out and turned on one of my lamps that is short a timer, so far I havn't managed to leave it on yet but there's still another 65 days left....I'm going to start picking some lower buds from the Nevilles this morning, I checked the calender and it's about 100 days in today, some of the bottom looks nice and amber, the tops are another issue.I'm sure ya'll are just about ready for spring, I know my woodpile says winter should be over!
I concur chaco.I didnt know you were running shanti's spice.I was looking hard at that one for a replacement to some un viable grape krush seeds but gypsy said it had to be the same breeder so I went with flo.Anyway I find the name spice interesting because it's supposed to be a very tropical/fruity kinda plant and the name suggests well, spicy.
Every single female, in 2 different rooms, hermed.Full blown herms too not just a stray male flower.I had 7 females too, they did however smell "spicy' when I chopped them up!!!Actually it worked out because I didn't need the headaches of more plants, not only that , they were ugly too.Very unlike MNS seeds. I'm soo happy with my 5 big plants right now and the low maintenence of big containers, it was really a lucky break towards simplicity.I have a little box of cuts, 10 freshly popped seedlings and 5 flowering plants, it's much less stress.
Melty, been rocking the floranova for a minute now. I am open to try other things out with the coco but things have been happy and tasty so why mess up a good thing? Although when I feel motivated enough I am going to give AN's sensi bloom A+B a try unlike most people around here I like AN's products. But at the same time GH floranova is right up my ally with the 1 part, I like keeping things simple.
Weekends are extremely boring with no football anymore and college basketball isn't exciting until march. Damn knicks are just a tease right now, good enough for the playoff's but no serious contender, guess I'll just be looking forward to seeing Clyde Frazier's wacky suits until baseball rolls around.....
