The funny thing is I never knew any of these strains were local til i started reading on icmag, have yet to try any of them, Im quite close to the city and the best herb we get is ''juicy fruit'' and ''jack''

Been cutting for days, the Colorado troopers got me, said I smelled like weed....the audacity..got away with a ticket, they always want to search the vehicle, dicks they want to catch you firing up, just 'cause I was moving out doesn't mean I was high.Anyway, my widowy La Nina just finished rather suddenly and began to fall apart before my eyes, all the leaves toward the lamps started burning, so I started cutting and the weed looks good, another couple days I think this plant may be dead.Here's some ECSD seeded up with Congo pollen, and the La Nina, not so bad takes a long time to cut.The cop got me on the day I cut the chemDD...

A couple harvests back when me and a friend were trimming we decided to go get takeout from a local burger/icecream joint... the moment we walked in to grab our food the entire restuarant was smelling like funk and everyone was looking around sniffing lol... The place smelled more like herb than food... I don't know what the big deal was, the kid working there said we smelled great

My wife had a college reunion of sorts this weekend, her college rm mate & hubby and a couple girls from her floor.
We haven't seen the couple in 10 yrs. They're way into the Dead, Hot Tuna, et al, went to Vibes wk before, huge partiers @ zoomass, but now they have 3 daughters and alcohol is their more practical choice for escape.
He was drinking pretty good the 1st nite @ dinner. When we got home, I rolled up a spliff of F13. His wife had a few puffs and smartly quit, but he tried to keep up w/ me and another girl. Man, his eyes got rolling and he had to make a dive for the couch in the next room, it was too funny!
I LOVE getting peeps blazed on good weed when they're not used to it!
All the college memories were getting brought up, w/ alot of "how'd we ever survive all that and make it?!?"
Every time I sparked up, it was "imagine if we had weed like this then?"

Heh HL good story That reminds me of a similar story, although the person in mine got a little higher than that... the following is 100% true and is going to take way to long to type out properly....
Prior to maybe 6-7 months back my mom hadn't smoked any herb since before I was born (late 80s). My parents are older and did plenty of partying back in the late 60s and 70s but once they had kids I think they cooled it down a good bit. Well, anyway, after seeing her youngest son and how into his little hobby he still was after all these years, she decided to partake again. I was visiting my parents house after hanging out with some friends, obviously lit, when my mom surprised me by asking "Is it ok if I take a puff?"
A few moments later I was grabbing a jar of LA pure kush out of my backpack and packing up an old smaller roor that I keep back at home (the only utensil available at the time). "Ok mom, take it easy, this weed probably is a little stronger than the stuff you used to get and this pipe will get you pretty high" is what I told her. I don't think that she took me seriously... because mom was ripping that shit like a CHAMP. I think she saw me hitting it before and after her and wanted to out do me or something, who knows. 1 hit.... 2 hits... 3 HITS... After what seemed like just a couple minutes of me telling her that she should slow down a little she was 5 fat bong rips deep, and looking a little bit spun. Around that time I headed out the door to grab a pizza that we had ordered for dinner...
I left chuckling, and not believing what just happened. My parents never bothered me much for smoking but I never thought that my mom would actually try it... I came back to guilt, shame, and a fat serving of what would later become laughter (I do have a pretty messed up sense of humor... I'm sure no one in my family will be forgetting this anytime soon ). I found my mom in her bedroom, pillow over her head, sprawled out making noises that I have never heard before or since. "UUUUGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHBlehBlehBleh" She sounded like a rhinoceros dying or something.
I asked, "Um mom, are you alright".
She uttered "I think I'm overdosing..."
"Mom, don't worry, you can't overdose on this stuff, you just had a little to much, you'll be fine"
"I.....can't.....move my legs"
Now at this point I was left feeling like a complete douche. How could I do this to my own mother? How could I have not known better? What the hell should I do? A million thought's raced through my head... Needless to say in the end I gave her a glass of cold water, helped her downstairs, and sat through most of Ice Age 2 on hbo with her while she laughed like an idiot... And she ended up having a great time...
To this day Pure Kush is her favorite.

Good morning peoplez. HL, zoomass dropout here, class of 77, lol. I spent my time smoking weed up on the Hill instead of actually going to classes. We had some good weed hit us there back in the day but not on a consistant basis. I remember buying quarter pounds of columbian gold for $ 100. I loved the taste of that shit. Mersh colombian was $75 a qp and jamacian was $45 but I hated the taste of the jamacian, it always tasted musty to me. The mersh lumbo usually had a decent taste though. I bought a pound of some venezualian for $325 in 74 that was some of the best herb that I ever smoked, it was very pretty and tasty too with a soaring sativa high that lasted for hours.
Sorry, some old people go on and on about this or that and I go on and on about weed, lol. I'm kinda like the old dude that will tell ya he walked 8 miles each way to school and it was uphill in both directions, lol. Enjoy the day peoplez

I'm doing a jumbo bucket outside this year, I'll post a link to a thread I posted with a sucky pic of them a few days ago. Weather has been awesome - pouring one day, 80 and sunny as a mofo the next. I'm hoping for rain again by like Friday or Saturday - I need to check the weather

Rudedewd, I'm that old guy too! I never went to the zoo, other than a couple of parties, crashing in transit in the mid 70's. My wife's crew is a little younger, '79- early 80's.
The one girl is a trooper tho, she can match me puff for puff when she's away from the kids. The next day her and I were hitting it all day, the guy faded from smoking after 1/2 a J of A11.
That night I rolled another F13 bomber and laced it w/ dry sieve, he wouldn't touch it!
Being the perfect host, I offered him some cannabutter, he declined that too!
I was expecting a big smoke-out weekend, and he really disappointed me!

Sorry to be a wet blanket, but the DEA/State eradication chopper was working my way in se ma.
Coming home for lunch, I could see a chopper working a grid near my house when I was a few miles away.
When I got home, they were working south of me, and the 4 plants in pots I have out, I hid. The others are in the ground off my property.
In the 1/2 hr. or so I was home, they flew over a couple of times randomly. It was loud & unnerving.
I kept coming out on my deck to look. My neighbor and daughter were out on their deck watching. She jokingly yelled over "hide the pot!" , as I voiced my displeasure. (They're wicked straight.)
I'll leave the plants hidden another day. It was overcast and rainy, not a great day for it.
Shit's messed up. Thought that stuff was behind us w/ the new admin/ budget cuts.
