Lilly, that KF is truely a beautiful plant. and whats up with the rescue copter? I had a scare last summer when someone robbed a bank nearby. the copter was hovering over my neighborhood for about 2 hrs. Nerve racking to say the least. i left the house to go to work, then the copter followed me about 3 miles. i felt like ray leeotta from casino.

Thanks man :joint: I really dig this casey cut, they are in 1 gal bags right now, but they did get a little bit bigger than I wanted em too. This it my first time flowering this one, seen it done before though and she yields pretty damn nice... Like I said dude loving the FN right now, way simpler than having to juggle my base nute with calmag constantly... When I feed I just pour it in until strong enough and I give em the additives on off waterings... If these finish up nice I'm switching over for good...

Hey lune, i've been thinking of running the flora nova in an ebb& gro setup im about to setup, about to make my way back towards hydro from coco. You running the FNB at the 8mil a gal i see some run?

Also CNS 17 is pretty nice for coco as well. I am also diggin the cns ripe. its a 1-5-4, highr phos, low n, dont think theres cal or mag either, designed for late bloom. giving it a shot now.

Not sure if im gonna run the 6/9 formula with the gh micro & bloom, or the 8 mil fnb. I also have enough canna aqua for one run left over from before. Decisions decisions. Just waiting on a few more clones to take and were off to the races.

Love the casey as well, she has been put on the side burner for the time being but her chance to shine again is coming in a few more weeks. Casey has this oily feel from clone to flower, as well as this distinct smell. I swear i could do a blind fold test and pick the casey everytime.Looks like you have a good pheno of the casey there. i had a few phenos that were weak stemed and grew golf ball size buds. Good smoke , but i like my pheno's like yours there better. the pheno that is more of a cola, tighter nodes and holds herself up. Also yeilds more. Believed i could say it is more diesel looking. I think its dieselish, ...hummm , lately some things blend together to much. Hard for me to remember at hte moment.

So the fnb, how u running it?

Nice, this is post # 420 for me. maybe i shouldnt post anymore.

I find a dramatic flavor difference using the Flora Nova vs. the Flora series...Some of the most flavorful herb I've done was DWC using Flora Nova...

I usually just go by the EC... when I'm feeding the small plants get 1.4-1.6, the good sized ones in veg and early flower get 1.8, and when I hammer em with food in flower I go to 2.0-2.2 (although with the weaker PBP in the past I've gone up to 2.4 no problem, depends on the strain really)... Right now I just pour the nutes straight from the bottle until my meter says everything is gravy... When the plants looks like they don't want any more food I'll usually just do an off watering with a little pbp grow (trying to stop early N fade) and the rest of my additives... I've been handwatering to heavy runoff (usually measuring runoff too to keep an eye on things)...

I received this casey as a cut, many other peeps online have her too... She most definitely leans to the diesel side of things, and has an almost musty diesel smell in flower... I've heard her smoke being described as "creamy diesel" and I think that fits pretty well...

Peace folks :joint:

Some of the sickest herb i've ever grown was DWC, HANDS DOWN. too much with all the water coolers and all the air pumps thou. So im gonna try a the ebb& flo this time.

So FNB it may be. you run any pk 13/14 or KB or any other booster or additives?

Yup during early flower I'll use liquid koolbloom, and late flower powdered koolbloom... although right now I'm out of the liquid so I'm just using the powdered from here on out... Just hit em with some for the first time this round a few days back... I've been looking into dr hornbys big bud as something to switch over too (npk ratio makes way more sense) but I'd like to use the rest of this KB before I actually buy some...

As far as my other additives go I use liquid karma, humic, sm90, mycorhizzae (did I spell that right?), hygrozyme, and silica blast when I have it... pretty sure that's it... Also been spraying with serinade and neem as a preventative measure...

hahaha you mean Ray Liotta in Goodfellas...he wasnt in Casino....
im not gonna lie ive really beeen skeched out posting on this site (pics at least) but just from reading others posts over the years I am happy to say that I am harvesting my first successful crop off a 400 w hps/mh fx farm setup.

Decriminalization has really made it easier for me to devote more time to my little op, as I was paranoid as a mother f*cker before!!

now im straight, got a few ssh in flowering while my CAPT. JACK and BOOM BOOM POW (as I named my unknown strains, the first which is clearly a Herer pheno) are being cured!!! unfortunately, my nugs got seeds, but surprisingly they are unreal for bud with seeds. and ive been all over man...cali hawaii bonnaroo chi town florida...and i swear this batch is up there wit ak and grand daddy purpz!! maybe exagguratin a bit but no lie this shit is incredible. just got back from a car show in jersey and we picked a little early just to have for the trip...nothing beats burnin your own...and blazin up your friends who are amazed by it.

last but not least...the hispanic haze thats around...thats always been my last resort. i get it when i absolutely cant get anything. Some people love it, but ive always been skeptikal. clearly its outoors right?? at least the kind ive seen which is about 345zp...but years back there was haz for 450 which smelled the same but the trichomees on it were unbelievable....ive heard haze is "sprayed" but is it possible that this is just the strain's smell?? bcuz sometimes its really good...SOMEtimes. I know its not real "haze"...but what is it?? one of my hippie friends called it Nevilles haze...but im almost positive its just called haze and not actually a full haze (which is like mexican thai and columbian all crossed or some shit right?)sorry for all my questions, thanks for all your answers

if its sprayed , then that is your typical beaster bud out of canada, they have a foliar spray full of nasty stuff that they spray on it before they harvest, if its really badly sprayed it will sparkle when you light a bowl, burn sort of weird and never really quite cash. also the ash will turn a blackish/grey instead of a nice white ash.
most hazes that are available commercially "depending on our area" are cut too early due to the long flowering time

Haze isn't sprayed, it's just good commersh. And when it's good, it really is some good herb. That strange taste is just some good tasting herb... Most of it comes from NYC :joint: It's most likely a real haze and grown indoors, just usually picked early... There's been some awesome haze around lately, actually... Search fpr "piff" on here and youll find a bunch of info on it...

The chopper was looking for some lost souls out on horseback or at least that's what some cholo told me at the supermarket parking lot...We get some unbelievable flyovers from the AFB nearby, real low, below mtn tops, sorties of say 7 jets, some big gigantic airplanes, cargo planes obviously, flying lower than I've been hiking.I think they train for Afghanistan in these very high, very rugged mtns.I just posted the chopper because hey, we've all had a fun chopper experience...We've had some massive storms and those Texans must of been camping in the backcountry and went the wrong way home...LUNE those plants were in veg just a couple weeks ago , eh? Moving out, you have to love it...:joint::joint: I can hardly hold my plants up any more, last night 2 big haze branches broke and then I knocked over my Congo trying to fix it up...

That one of the problems that I'm foreseeing with these 1 gals of coco... they might get a little bit too top heavy :joint:

yeah the piff around here is decent..its in no way beasters thats what we call "dro" its like twice the price of dro (which is like 170-220 a z)....whats good piff haze prices?? around here its like 55 for a whole which is outrageous in my eyes unless its grown right which i have only seen a few times....its always good but rarely its incredible looking...ak quality...the stuff around now is way too much loot tho since grand daddy purps is the same price when its around. lately its been dry as a desert and all i can get steadily is a LOT of haze. (or jacks or juIcy...but unfortunately my sources for these cheaper strains have been slacking or become rather skechy-surprisingly my haze source is steady and always on point even though one look at him would make you think otherwise...) I didnt think it was "sprayed" i figured it was just the distinct smell of the strain, as any strain has a distinct smell (ak, jack herer, grand daddy etc.) but some smokers swear that it is...its definitely a much different strain then anything else, but i wonder if its just how they cure it . it looks like good outdoors tho...at least the kind thats around now. Does any one know what piff strain is?? is it elvis?? also, what wattage can you use without arousing negative attention. ive heard 800w. im using a 400 with ac on all the time then a 150 for a little veg chamber...and just from this my electric bill is high...but i want to have a steady supply of good and lately i cant get enough variety which is why i want to step up my setup a little. thanks ! sorry for all the questions and the long paragraph!!

Unless your place is tiny or utilities are included with rent (if you rent...), don't worry about the electricity bill... just pay it on time and all is well... I'd say ditch the 150 all together, use the 400 for veg and moms, and grab a 600 or 1ker for flower... the jump up from a 400 makes a HUGE difference... good luck bro

What the hell is up, NE? Long time no talk to a buncha you folks!

Lune, Chaco, HL, gman, rude, MP, a big what up to you guys, hope all is well with y'all.

Sorry to hear about what mother nature has been doing to you guys OD. I've been OK, as I put my plants in those botanicare 30 gal digi camo bags, 2 to a bag, and the slugs didn't get anywhere near them.

Here they are on the 11th.

This is a 2x4 with 2 400's, flipped 3 days ago. Gonna be a nightmare, I vegged most of them WAY too long. Almost put em OD, but I'm just gonna trim em down a little and take some cuts.

And a clonebox. Tried puttin 2 250's and 2 T5's in there, but it was WAY too hot. Gonna take the 250's out and put a T5 on each level. Got a 6" can fan venting it, but it's still not enough to get it below the low to mid 90's.

Lune, how frequently are you watering those? I'm using 1 gal bags too, and have to every day. I'm planning on going to 7x7 pots, as I hate moving bags around. Also, you ain't kidding about the heat! It ain't even been THAT warm, but I'll be goddamned if I don't have to go turn the AC on soon, and it's only like 76 outside!

I'm gonna need a better AC before the summer's over at this rate.

gman, good luck with the transition back to hydro, I know the coco had been causin you issues!

Nice to see so many new CT faces around here!

All the best,
TG
