Well root rot has claimed almost half my plants this season, I guess the greenhouse wasn't such a good idea after all.

Sorry to hear that man. Wouldn't wish that shit on anybody. Most root rot is caused by a mold. Phytophthora cinnamomi and it can't be eradicated, just controlled. The best bet for control is phosphite based funguicides, but it sounds like it's too late for that. If you can do raised beds next year that decreases the chances since the water drains past the roots.

I seen a video of a guy on IG taking a spoon and cutting out all the rot and then putting a powder on the area of fresh, bare stalk. I’ll try and find it and get the name of the powder. You may be able to save some plants.

I wish all mine were that far along. Erdpurt is 100% indica 7-8 weeks and the OEx 8 week Durban is mostly sat hybrid.
Others might not make it before frost.

Mine above are sativa leaning as well. I anticipate harvesting around October 20th if things go right. Lets see if we can avoid some frost.

Yes, the Orient Express plants started showing pistils maybe 10-15 days ago. That big mass is effectively 3 plants, I did not anticipate them getting that big so I didnt spread them out more.



The BG started showing pistils a little over a week ago, so just a few days after the OE.


All I did with the plants was but them directly in the ground. Granted I mixed my own composite in there, which has done really well for my Corn and other vegetables. So dirt (clay soil), homemade compost and the occasional water is all I do.

Got most of my trellis up, still have to fill in a little on the bottoms but that should get done tomorrow. Its rough and crude but should work. Total spent this year is $16 on trellis. Plants are 8-10 foot tall, last years you couldn't see the 12' tripods some were so tall.

I was happy, upon my return, to see that one of the plants I kicked out of my little growroom that looked potentially male turned out to be female after all. Will likely have to move it inside eventually, might take awhile to finish.
