It's good to use a combination of at least two odor control methods.
IE: an exhaust carbon filter hooked up to a box with an ona bucket rig below the constant air stream, done up for easy access.
And/Or an ozone generator (opposed to ONA). Don't filter this bad boy into your house, only up your old chimney.
I've always thought about exhausting heat that the light emits to a 'Y', and having one damper to regulate the flow of hot air into my air ducting. It'd keep the heat signature down, especially in the winter if the lights were supplying me with a few degree's of hot air.
Two 'Y's in parallel, with three dampers, one to exhaust through the dryer vent, one to the vent 'stack', and one out the chimney. It'd give you ultimate stealth and ultimate control over where you want your heat to go . Whoa off-topic, crazy rant! oops!
Good luck. I use a 2 large Can filters and 8" Canfans (one for scrubbing room air and the other for exhaust) and an 8" inline ozone generator and my AK girls still stink up the hood.
