In-line fan would be best… unless the clip on fan happens to be clipped onto a fce-4800 of course@everyone Our gift will be randomly selected from these three (Clip-on-fan/Inlinefan/Growbag), you can find them on the official website. Tell us which one do you like?
It would be cool if the lucky winner could choose one of the prizes?Hello there. Our gift will be randomly selected from these three (Clip-on-fan/Inlinefan/Growbag), you can find them on the official website. Tell us which one do you like?
I am in the UK . I could really do with in inline fan . As my airflow at the moment is just passive.Hello there. Our gift will be randomly selected from these three (Clip-on-fan/Inlinefan/Growbag), you can find them on the official website. Tell us which one do you like?
I'm easy either way, however I can't flaw your logic.Let's be honest, no one is going to choose a grow bag, or a clip on fan. In fact I wouldn't claim the prize if it's either. An inline fan is the only prize it can be out of those if you want to claim any credibility here these days. I don't want you to think I'm being mean to you, but realistically that is the situation.
TLC too obviouslyI'm easy either way, however I can't flaw your logic.
There's pro's & con's to either of the fans . The Main Con is the noise and if the fans are fixed to the structure then there is Vibration as another Con.
Con with grow bag... You might not have room , or no saucer big enough to catch run off water.
However the Cons of not having fans , means you end up with tatty small grows like the ones I have.
I have Never owned an In-line fan and filter . I have had a load of fans and as most growers know . If not maintained, the fans stop working . My meager experience teaches me that clip on fans can be hung from string ( this reduces the vibration and noise a good percentage ) also canes , framework at a cost of having vibrations tho .
Making them versatile .
I've even had fan at intake and at the outlet ( 1 high and 1 low ) . It barely does the job does nothing for the smell tho.
So given a choice I would guess maybe a high 85-92% of indoor growers would logically/instinctively go for an In-line fan ... Me I could do with a complete brand spanking new set up , the works . With a nice medium for the roots ( this soil that is currently being used is crap , the roots just haven't the freedom). View attachment 18949123
This is from the Auto Amnesia I was running as part of the Seeds Mafia comp. The plants didn't really get a chance. I salvaged this much.

Digress ...
The Long and short of it . A fan&filter , good soil, lighting and the right amount of the right goodness at the right time and all will be fine .

It would be nice . However most importantly for me is Fan&Filter . I can work around my soil situation, I can even make it so bright in there I'd need sunglasses.got thoses , really hope for a good light !
Passive airflow is all I've ever know . Bungee works for me too . I just tie string around them ( I have lots of string ... Only one bungee tho) hanging them on string suit me , even normal table type fans I hang . As my Autistic side doesn't like too much noise and vibrations do my nut in . But hey ho .Just for the record, my grows have no run off water, I grow in storage tubs without drainage. I don't use clip on fans, (bungie chord is the way to reduce vibration for those that do). I do need another inline fan for the tent my entry photo plant was grown in, as that was grown with passive airflow only. My soil is cheap, £3 for 25 litres, but I use the hesi line for nutrients.
You got a pink watering can pop . Is that Mrs BrunchesThey are highly sought after… and much easier to water this peat free stuff gently
I see the watering can . I'm hoping my fingers become as green as yours one day mateHi all

Healthy looking plantsHere’s my first garden!! I’m new to growing and committed to going fully organic, I am A bit over 8 weeks in and I’m in the USA. Thanks to @k15 for the “hand me down” equipment to get me started. I have been smoking for about 18 yrs to replace Ritalin, Concerta and Adderall which were prescribed to me by a doctor and had done its toll on me by high school. I am looking forward to learning more and can’t wait to see where this journey takes me. Thanks for looking here’s a few photos of what I have been tending to. View attachment 18949148
