Hi Douglas, i was looking at your cicle with the tsw2000 , what/s your opinion about? ive seen you had some probs with the plants but how did the LED work? would you suggest for an 80*80 with 3 or 4 11lt pots? Cheers have a good day mate :tiphat:
The TSW-2000 is a little too intense in a 66x66 area, so your 80x80 would be perfect. :) My issues with the plants came from my setup, a few situational issues and my own ignorance. The LED itself is great. lol

I would use the largest containers I could fit at least 3 of. Fabric or airpots, with a few inches between for airflow. ;)

Just got my sp250. I tested the wattage from the plug and it was using 213w. Is that a good spot to leave it or should I turn it up for optimum performance?

I've never turned mine up, just used like it was sent. I'm not sure if you turn it up that it'll last as long. Also I suggest you get a oscillating fan to cool the SP 250, things always operator better cool than letting them get 2 hot. Good luck

Thanks for your support, buddy. :huggg:
If you use this light for vegging right now. i think there is no need to power up. During flowering stage, it will be better to do like that.
The max power of SP250 can reach more than 260W. But it is better to keep it below 250W to extend the lifespan.

Yes, the driver also can be mounted out of tent. It also can help lower the temp.

@Mars Hydro- I finally put up my new TSW2000...!!!... wow is it bright...!!!...
my question: are the drivers already turned all the way up???
I see where I can take off that white rubber knob thingy and there’s a tiny whole that I can fit a small Phillips head screwdriver into to turn a screw...!!!...

I’m just wondering if it’s already turned up to the max power or do I need to turn that screw myself to turn it up to the max power...???...

Thanks

I wouldn't be happy running a light while leaving the rubber stoppers in place. I also peeled the stickers off as I don't want paper getting too hot. Kinds parra about fire.

The rubbers toppers on the ballasts are waterproofing. The LED light itself is not waterproof, but the ballasts are designed this way from the factory. ;) A little bit of paranoia is ok. lol

Hi Nickman, it is not max power. Almost 90% of the total wattage. The light can be 110% power but it is better not to do like that. It might shorten the lifespan. And for the screw driverm it is better to use a 3mm diameter one. Happy grow!!
