Hi everyone.
My experience with Marshydro was positive, I can't say anything bad...but it's my experience with them.
However, I don't find it correct to criticize in this way a company that does its best to satisfy its customers...someone will have had a negative experience but from there to saying "it's a bad company", or worse, it's stupid .there is no point in complaining publicly. there is no point in discrediting a company for, perhaps, a small mistake or oversight..
There are real charlatans out there who should be lynched...
every problem has its own reason and its own resolution.
Ciao Raghashish 🙌🙌
Cant believe you're actually trying to defend Mars Hydro😂

The point of saying these things is to keep people away from Mars Hydro...

Ive had 3 mars hydro lights and ALL THREE caught fire or melted, all were within 6 months old and they would NOT warranty anything. I had to pay abipping both ways and parts/labor to get them fixed. 1 light ok, 2 lights now im iffy, all 3 lights, yeah thats a BAD company... just stating facts here. 🤷🏻
Go on ANY cannabis forum and see what people have to say about Mars. Everyone trashes them.

don't talk bullshit please
Shoveling shit out of a company like that doesn't seem serious to me....
I don't know the "old" Mars Hydro lamps but I have had two FCE 3000 in my hands and I must say that they don't get hot at all and are made in a professional manner just like the Lumatek ones.
probably the homemade lamps that I assembled are better, probably..., but they are made to measure for my needs... the Marsh hydro or the lumatek or any other brand are made to suit everyone..... so they cannot be good for everyone....it may seem like a contradiction, but if you think about it a bit, what I wrote is not heresy
I haven't had the opportunity to try the Lumatek, but I think that in terms of quality there isn't much difference honestly and also in terms of construction the standards are now well defined, I'm talking about cables, driver connectors, etc. The chips available on the market of a certain level have almost mirror-like characteristics.... so.... I don't understand all this acrimony.
I understand preferring one brand over another, but from here to stating that one brand is good and the other is shit, it seems a little too unbalanced to me.
there's no point in getting angry 😇 ....I'll go and see if there's a fire in the growbox:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::tiphat:

To put us back on track:

Being told you have won something only to wait and wait and wait is like telling a child Santa Claus is bringing him a new bicycle. He is excited, he is happy. When it does not arrive, he knows Santa is not real.
Yeah but posting on the forum while ignoring his PMs is a deal breaker for me 🤷‍♂️ Santa always answered my letters even though he only ever brought me underwear

Most guys talking about quality are probably missing the point that different markets have different electrical standards, and may get sold different equipment or may be using the same equipment at different voltage/amperage/frequency.

What gets sold in the EU may not have the same specs than what gets sold in the USA, or be used the same way. It does have a different price tag, after all. Don't know if that's how Mars Hydro operates, but it is a possibility.

What i'm trying to say here is that the concept that companies in a globalized capitalist market do cut corners wherever and whenever they can shouldn't be new to anyone here.

I've never had problems with any budget light manufacturers in the EU (be it Spider Farmer, Viparspectra, Secret Jardin, Grow The Jungle, Mars Hydro) btw. Maybe i'm just lucky 🤷‍♂️

I am not surprised by Mars Hydro's lack of response. As I mentioned in my post about my FC-E6500, I haven't been able to get ahold of anyone at MH to respond to me in the last 10 months.

I've owned many of their lights, from the single panel "1000" lights up to now the 6500. This is the second time I've had issues with a light from them. There won't be a third.

Their wanton lack of customer service and inability to respond to customers that have been loyal and repeatedly have suggested their equipment to new growers is despicable and ridiculous.

It doesn't surprise me at all that they wouldn't contact the people who won their competition.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you.

It makes me wonder how they’re going to answer this thread after it’s been continuously building haha. Having posting abilities as a vendor on this site might actually start backfiring if this thread gets to big.

Not talking about Mars Hydro specifically here but in general I don't think it's the best idea for sponsors to be posting everywhere on a forum. Not that they shouldn't, it's not my business, but it can go wrong and sometimes it does. Another sponsor in this forum used to be very active in some spanish forums and it backfired pretty hard for them.

Winning is not: Thinking You have won.
It is receiving prizes, trophies, accolades.
Getting nothing makes you feel like a Loser who was stupid for being duped, and getting your hopes up.

Not intended to sound angry at anyone. Just talking about principles and fairness.

personally i've only had one problem with any of the 7 mars tents and 7 lights i have, and that was entirely my fault and simple to fix as it was just a broken solder connection...and one tent zipper is a bit sticky...aside from the one lamp everything has been in continuous use since i got them,in some cases for several years. i did win or was given some of the lamps/tents,but so far so good...

all that said, when i buy new lights now,it's from HLG because i get them at a significant discount and to be honest, they are much better made products and the one time i had a problem with one of their leds they shipped a new one no questions asked within 24 hours and i had it in house in 48 hours and they sent the shipping label for the broken lamp so i didn't even have to send the broken one first...that's customer service

I can agree with this, having a product go out, you need something in its place asap, you cant wait around, you got plants that need it fixed yesterday, customer server is gold, and time is money
