By not doing incredibly stupid acts in public whilst stoned. Anything negative the media will eat up and feed to Big Brother as criteria for how "detrimental" it can be to society.

Write a letter to the editor of your local paper!

This is a great way to get your ideas in front of a lot of people for free. I have done it, I don't know how many people it sways, but if only one, I'm happy. I write about all the patients that are getting relief, the medical bennifits, but now I may change course and promote how safe it is compared to social drugs that are being used, and alcohol...maybe throw in some history like Igrowone points out...stick to the facts...DD

NORML's stance on this subject makes me wonder who is running their show. Most good negotiators know you start negotiation by asking for the sun. you may not get it ...but you have to start with lofty expectations. Then you can negotiate downwards from there. If negotiations start at the bare minimum you need, you will always end up with less. If the power that be were not even listening one might start with baby steps, but they are listening and we need to reach high to get what we want. NORML, listen up here, by supporting only decriminalization you are setting us up to receive less.

The pro cannabis movement's success must be fought on many fronts, but most importantly we must fight fair and speak honestly. Expose the lies from our enemies without judging them. Show them a way to lose the drug war with dignity.

There are many books written about the benefits of hemp and cannabis and well as history and other supporting facts. Read them, get your ammunition from these texts.

Another book to read is "THE ART OF WAR" by Sun Tzu. This text will teach you strategy and ultimately you will gain the courage to fight and win.

This war involves many battles on many fronts. The wind has changed to a more favorable direction so now is the time to keep that momentum going. Our enemies will soon mount a counter attack, so be ready to fight them because we have the truth on our side.

This is a war of ideas, it's about freedom of the people. Identify our enemies and conquer. This is fight that will be won with ideas. You can start with your grandmother and her friends, just get to the voters.

City halls, county seats, state capitals and ultimately Washington, DC is where the surrender papers must be signed. So get your AMMO (information) your WEAPONS (words) choose your battleground and surround the enemy.
