If he is just manufacturing the systems, then theres no reason for him to gain anybodys trust really. I don't think hes gonna be installing them in peoples home. I just think he's selling the cabinets. But you do make good points Cantbe2high. If i was a grower i would never let anybody into my place. I think if these cabinets are just marketed correctly there would be nuthing to worry about. A very good audience to market for would be elderly... Most old people cant go work in the garden all day. But if you have a simple system that will grow you plants indoors with little actual, "work" then i think the elderly would be a great target to market twards.. Off topic alittle haha. take it easy
Also, one thing I have been wondering about....how feasible would it be to hire a private investigator to look into the backgrounds of any clients that pay an extra fee to get more specific advice on growing in their new cabinet? If I was able to hire a PI for a reasonable fee per background check, I could pass this fee on to the client (disguised, of course), along with an hourly fee for my time involved.

Anyone have knowledge what a background check would cost per individual(s)? Anyone know if this background check would be effective in rooting out LEO from disguising themselves as potential customers?

Thanks to everyone who has participated so far :)
Ok to get a background check you don't need a P.I at all. There are numerous websites that give out a persons history. Thay are called "people searches". Most require a monthly or annual fee. In these types of searches you can find a person's adress, phone number, relatives, crimminal history, basically anything that is a public record. http://www.intelius.com/ <-- This is an example of this type of website. You can find most anything about a person. Also this is a discreet way to do this. Like some-1 said b4 this will definetly draw attention if hireing a P.I. A good way to root out LEO is to run a tag number from the car. some federal agents, FBI, DEA do not usually register the tag number. It will simply come back as "not a registered plate number". Any car plate that comes back a, "no-hit" is usually federal agents. This isn't always 100% but it does give you a shot. http://www.docusearch.com/run-license-plate-record.html <--this is an example of a licence plate search website. There are all sorts of ways to find out anything about anybody. If you have any more questions let me know. I may be able to assist you. I dont have enough posts yet for PMs tho sry.
P.S. the best way to avoid the law is to study the law. Also just don't do anything illegal. They are just plant cabinets not for illegal use. A disclaimer on the website is a good way to protect ones self.

Yep no reason it can't be a legit business that just happens to appeal to all sorts of cabinet growers, no need to give advice at all that might incriminate you, point people at the internet, but tell them that your cabinets are for legal use only. Just don't entertain talk of illegality.

Thanks for all the great responses dudes...

I am too tired to type out anything sensible at the moment, have to do it tomorrow.

A lot of the specs in the Anarchist Cookbook / Terrorist Handbook are very inaccurate and one attempting most of the procedures are more likely to injure themselves than they are to develop "high order" explosives(such as PETN, RDX, etc..).

"...was barely a cookbook, as the recipes in it are notoriously unreliable. At best, it was a fraud, a spoof; at worst, an attempt to undermine the legitimacy of anarchist practice, and cause readers to injure themselves." - http://www.crimethinc.com/books/rfd.html

the real cook book that was printed in the late 70's was very accurate. it wasn't watered down like the reprint if you can call it that.. the one printed in the 70's can only be bought if your in the goverment dea fbi eod some place like that but if your in with them you have the training and don't need the book. the reprint will get ya killed or at least your hands blown off
