This is an interesting concept, but it makes me wonder...

The DEA and Justice Department have tried before to frame pot as something that benefits terrorism shortly following 9/11. I was in high school at the time, and I still remember seeing the commercials of kids going "I killed a judge...all I wanted to do was get high..." on the TV. I remember they didn't last more than a month or so, but I do distinctly remember thinking to myself how sickening it was for the government to try and abuse the general populations' view of the origins of cannabis to to portray it as a terror-funding substance.

We may be seeing a rekindling of those old flames. Terrorism is a dangerously easy trump card to use for a powerful/corrupt "law and order" executive like the one we have now.
