Hey bro, nice to see you back. Crappy about the goober, I tried to pop 5 of them but nothing worked. I then put them in soil, but still nothing... I was disappointed but oh well. Those widow's look sweet man, nice to see they do well as multi cola's too, more smoke in the end.

It does seem my Mongrul looks more like your PC, lookswise. That Grapey smell is strong though and I'm addicted to rubbing her cola to get the smell on my fingers. I then walk around smelling my fingers all day.
Looks like my Mongrul will yield average...trim work should be a cinch though

If you havn't noticed PC seems to be the rave of growers threads all across IC...you should be a proud daddy. I had thrown a PC bean down with Mongrel, but it ended up being a male
Giving it another go untill I get a lady.
Mongrel did really appeal to me though when I've seen it grown by others. You know how it is when certain bud structures catch your eye.
Can't wait to show you how beautifull she should turn out for me

Zeus - She did bulk up nice this week
I was impressed. Yield is definately not disapointing with this one. The buds are nice, thick and indica like. I too am only about a week or so to harvest, just letting the trichs properly mature now My Mongrul for next round will be a tad bigger.
Next time I shhow her, she'll be ready to be chopped!

Just poppin in to see what's going on..Haven't been here since my dog died..took some time off and went to see family..
then finally returned and got a new dog..a puppy
..My life changed a lot..I've been hiking and doing a bunch of stuff with the new pup..
that's about it..no new grows still..was gonna start one..
but I'm leaving for a couple of weeks at Xmas..so I'll have to be in the bleachers still for a bit, cheering on the Fightin Trichome Farmers..
Miss the old IC family..hope all is well..not really updated on threads..wanted to say high first.. high..

Glad you have moved on and found new love. Sounds like that pup is bringing new life into you as well. Great to hear you're doing your body well.
It's great you stop in every once in a while and let us know you're still kickin! I always look forward to your next grow and photo skills. With the learned patience of a maturing grower...I think I can make it till after the holidaze to watch you pump out another masterfull grow

HighLow - First off...Thanks for asking, because it obviously means you like my photos.
I've never thought of them as anything special compared to some of the pros here at IC, but I have made an improvement since I've started here.
I have a pretty junky camera, but I must say it takes a solid picture. I do know my camera inside out though, and I can't stress the importance of knowing all the exact features your camera can perform and why I strongly recommend reading the manual thoroughly for best results.
I have an auto mode and a manual mode. I have set up the manual mode specifically to my likings for taking macros of my plants. Which was just simple adjustments to white balance and contrast, etc.
I do crop my macros where available. I like to save space in my gallery and eliminate unnecessary background. I can actually boast nearly 3 years of posting pics without once having to delete anything from my gallery.
I also feel the effective use of black or white backgrounds help focus the attention on the plant. Green and sparkly show up well against a good solid BG.
I do have a tripod, but never use it
It takes too long to adjust in between individual shots and I never have noticed too much quality improvement when using it. I go freehand.
I'm thinking the models are an important factor as well Sexy models always yield decent pics.

hehe no story to tell... it was pure fluke that me, Y and shutter got new names similar times.
my reasoning was security. while i dont mind sharing my grows here on ICmag, i found news of someone i didnt want watching my grows, was indeed watching em, so name change was good idea.. still showing the venomheads though..

Always happy when harvest time arrives
I was expecting this harvest last week, but the plant asked for an extra week, and so I gave it to her. Her time has now come though.

^ Man, does she smell alot like Purple Bastard. Very reminiscent of the PB grow I ran a little over a year ago. I just smoked the last bud from that about a month ago The buds got nice and dense on the Mongrul Great grapey aroma, and trimming wasn't that bad at all. The fans also remind me of the PB's...I'd say this plant is very dominant that way. Not a nanner in sight on this plant So it looks like I have another true lady to mess around with.

^ I'm thoroughly satisfied with a plant that gives me dense buds of well frosted and mouth watering buds
Kudos to Core for a job well done
As much as I'd love to stick around this morning, I'm beat and need some rest.
