Now, I have seen this before but this time there is quite a bit on this pheno, what structure are the little yellow banana shaped things, sort of visible pointing towards the bottom center and on top but harder to see:
ps...those "bannana" looking structures are male flowers. Not really considered a hermie plant though. Some strains tend to toss out a few of these in their last days of flowering as a last ditch attempt to make seed.
An end of life struggle to survive.
The slang term for those btw are "nanners" as in "shes throwing out a few nanners".
You can keep an eye out for these and pluck them off to try to limit how many calyxes end up getting pollenated. This late what ends up happening is tiny under developed seeds in some of the buds which are harsh to smoke.
Ah. This makes sense as the other strain has exhibited these in the past but has only generated a few "false" or underdeveloped beaners. This mango has been through alot! She was doing well since birth from seed but then as my initial post states I was attempting to correct a deficiency in another plant and broke the cardinal rule....I watered the others with the same food and my calcs/ingredients were WAY off and It looked like I watered with rock salt. BUT, through perserverance I was able to resuscitate. Hopefully the clones I took can be nurtured better so as not to exhibit these guys. Thanks for the info.
After thinking about what 10k said I revisited my calander and it turns out that I'm a week behind, so these girls are actually at 7wks! Thought they looked further along!
BUUUUTTTT, upon closer investigation, those "nanners" turned out to much more widespread than I thought. She turned tranny on me!!! Low and behold, I had to remove her from the virgins club so as not to jepordize the other ladies who are indeed all lady.
It's quite unfortunate as once again due to an issue a plant is missing out on its flush week.
Overall the outcome looks good despite the early pull and the preliminary verdict based on the "scissor hash" smoke is all about being
Will keep up to date on the others.....
OK now if it's ok with the mods and everyone else, I'd like to continue with the next generation of sisters. These ladies were placed in that MG organinc I spoke of earlier and are doing ok minus some similiar defs as the tester but these appeared, anyone know what these are?
I apologize as they are really difficult to shoot. They seem like some sort of dried chitin material as if they are an insect but I'm not sure. They almost look like a curled up hardened slug. They break open like glass.
