Male / Female?! The wait is killing me!

Arghhhhh im in week 6 of veg with unsexed plants and the wait to flower is killliinnggg meeeee. Im running out of space fast and I have no idea which plants to keep and which not to keep. I took cuttings and started sexing them under 10/14 light but they havent shown sex yet [just starting to root].

Im lookin for preflowers but cant find any- i thought i found some but it was just new internodal growth. Plants are making 11 blade leaves but no preflowers yet!

I have one abnormally tall kinda shriveled plant that i swear just "looks" like a male but i cant tell for sure and i dont want to chop it if its a femal cause i only got 6 plants goin and need 4 fems!

Any suggestions on what to do? Besides "be patient"? should i chop the tall shrively guy?

I veg for only 3wks and after 12/12 they start to show in about a wk or two. Check toward the top for these signs

Heres the garden, just lst'd the two front right plants so they are lookin a lil sparse atm... back left corner is the weird male/stringy plant



Here is a close up of the supposed male/ crappy growing plant... even if it is female would it even be worth budding??

It's hard to tell from these pictures. Just have to look for the sexes like above.

in my experience, some strains have taken almost a month or two before they even start to show signs of sex. I dont flower to find the sex, I just let them show it when they are ready in veg.

what im trying to do it determine sex now, transplant to 5gal, veg 1 more week, then flower... i know its idealistic but thats what im goin for... i guess if the cuttings dont show sex by this sunday ill switch the main box to flower...

i'm going to go ahead and call that a boy, in your last pic the higher node on the left side....there looks to be the male part to me, its still early so give it some more time BUT mark that very spot and check it EVERYday untill your sure.....

so your grow room is overcrowded and you want to flower, but decided to take clones and flower those to check for sex? why? your plants are ready for flower so all flowering your clones is gonna do is tell you the sex in 2 weeks, then your mature plants need another 2 weeks to start flower.

your clones should have been put under 24hrs light so that you will have your next lot of female plants veging ready to go into flower.

hey guys thanks for your help! decided to take your advice and put them in flower today, hopefully they will show sure-signs of sex soon... already took cutting of 3 plants i think are strong phenos and got them in a cloner under 24hr

good lad, no point wasting 2 weeks for flowering and end up with unusable clones.

that pic you showed is a male plant. also female plants show pistils faster than you will see the calyx.

It'll be the 7th pic,looks like a male but nothing of certainty yet.

if this was a female you would be able to see the pistils by the time it got to this point. but wait it out. you should be certain by now. it doesnt take long.
