Yes some zamal are very strong and psychedelic. I have had one hybrid very hallucinogenic but at the same time some zamal of the same line were very low potent near my haze hybrides.

I grow zamal since four years and even it can produce good strains I continue to prefere Afghani/Haze/Skunk who are the best hybrid of the cannabis world.

I prefer Hazy hybrids it's clear !

Haze-Skunk-Indica genepool is probably among the finest combinations in the cannabis world. Dutch hybrids like Jack Herer, Super Silver Haze and my favourite dutch strain: Kali Mist ... they are all great expressions of the excellent skunk-haze-indica genepool. I love the incensey skunky aromas with deep indica density.

Crossing haze sativas with skunk/indica genes produce hybrids with incredible quality of aromas but i dont like the effect too much, i find it very strong but dirty at the end in the head. After smoking a few joints, effect is amotivational, dirty and heavy. I dont like them for daytime smoke, one joint is nice but the effect doesnt motivate me to keep me smoking, they are far from the true sativa experience.

Zamal maybe is not so aromatic but her effect, especially in the good zamal hybrids is in a different league, completly trippy/psychedelic.

Anyway zamal has the potential to produce very tasty hybrids too(especially if you use the carrot pheno and not the woody one), Gerrit's zamal x warlock are very tasty and aromatic, like the best haze x skunk mixes.

Malawi x Zamal would be amazing, great idea Dubi!

Zamals have a tendency to herm, so if you can find a good non-hermie male, I'm there

Zamal is probably the most psychedelic sativa we have tried. Her hybrids are the closest to LSD in the cannabisworld.

Malawi is extremely powerful, most powerful pot we have tried but effect is more narcotic than zamal. A good hybrid between zamal, malawi (and angolese) would produce incredible intense sativa experiences, probably too intense and powerful. I can not imagine a pure sativa with stronger potential.

A good Mexican would be a nice choice, there's no doubt. Or a good zamal hybrid. Bangi Haze would be a good one too.

We always recommend the growers to get our seeds with the original packaging. Seeds outside the packaging could suffer humid conditions, temp and light variations ... our original packaging protects the seeds inside a tube with silice crystals.

Old mexican sativa strains have been heavily 'contaminated' with other genetics. Now it's rare to find a good true breeding mexican sativa, they are mainly unstable sat/ind hybrids, not very desirable for breeding.

We did a small mexican michoacan 'verde limon' reproduction past year, but now is out of stock.

We are reproducing guatemala sativa right now, she's real uniform and easy to adapt to other climates. She's a vigorous, good yielding 12 week sativa with floral/woody aromas and clear happy high, very close to the good old mexican sativas.

We have decided not to sell angolese or other mano negra's genetics in the future. They will probably be gifted between growers.

Im working with Gerrit's zamal selected cut right now, but only for the mother side. Im harvesting zamal x chinese fem seeds, trying to recreate an old zamal chinese hybrid we did 4-5 years ago.

In the mid-70's there was a glut of lowland columbian in my area, a real narcotic pot. We had a connection for "high altitude mexican", which was excellent- up, friendly weed. It came in really good shape, big, loose colas!
Too bad he couldn't get it as much as we wanted it! So when we did get it, it was a BIG treat!

So keep up the good work of sorting thru those mexi's!

One member of our collective did zamal x haze 2-3 years ago, i have never grown it yet. Should be a magic sativa, extreme tropical expression!

Zamal x north indian/nepalese has not been explored yet.
