malawi , zamaldelica , banghi haze

so i've been growing mostly sativa dom hybrids and i wanted to try out some ace strains, i was mostly interested in these 3 but i wanted to chose 2 so malawi OR zamaldelica AND banghi haze
i know there are threads discussing these strains but no one really gets to the point about their flowering times and smoke reports so yes i could go through all of the rambling and find some descriptions but i would really appreciate it if someone who has grow them would help me out, i was mostly interested in knowing flowering times(the real ones) and i guess smoke reports on these strains without the usual rambling and off topic stuff that goes on in these other threads, also most of them are pretty outdated now, thanks in advance

anyone out there? i know these things vary but i just wanted people to share their personnal experiences with these strains to help me decide between malawi or zamaldelica, banghi haze i'm pretty set on, but from what i understand malawi seems to be not as clear and energetic a better yielder and finishes earlier than zamaldelica , am i wrong? are the strain descriptions on their website true? zamaldelica seems tastier

my current grow space is 0.8x0.8x1.6 and i have a 400w hps so not much but hopefully enough, also i grow in soil, i was trying to find out actual numbers from people's experiences on the flowering times and it'd be cool to know yields , effects and tastes

Hey 66. I am on two my second run of some Ace gear. The first lot were , Zamaldelica fem, Golden tiger Fem,Panama fem and a Malawi reg.Have seeds of Bangi ( soon to try). From that , I would say , Malawi and Panama were the larger yielders, though all we're very good.Under a 400 , you would be looking at 1.5-2.5 oz depending on size .!! All have had only short cures , so hard to judge full strengths !! So far from myself and my group of friends , Golden Tiger is the favourite . The Malawi taste let her down , though I'm sure a long cure may help!, it had a bit heavier buzz ! Zamaldelica has an amazing smell and a earthy fruity taste , very clear trippy visual high . Panama was a very vigorous plant with great structure , very large buds and a sweet musky smell. The high was very up , clear happy.I don't think you will go wrong with any Ace strains

thanks for the help man , yeah ace seeds really stood out for me , yeah the malawi seems to be less complex in taste, i wasn't really considering panama but now i don't even know x)
do you know how many weeks or days it took on average after the start of budding for each strain?
i saw somewhere that the GT had the harshest comedown do you agree or do they all have mellow comedowns? also which one do you think streches the most? sorry for the interrogation x)

I only have Zamaldelica, two phenos from the original release, Zamal x Malawi/Thai.

Flower onset depends on watts I guess, but some time to veg for branching to yield.

The plants I flower from cuttings in coco hempy with 165w PL L, in a small box.
Both phenos flower to 110 days, I cure for 8-10 weeks minimum, have
some stash 10 months cure that is sublime.

High is perfect, hours of clear warm euphoria with easy come down.

when i say flowering times i mean since the start of budding not when you change to 12/12, i'm assuming those 110 days are since the start of 12/12 right?
10 months cured must be amazing does it getter sweater ?
i'm thinking any of these strains would respond well to topping and training right?

Under a 600s mine start in a week or so. Zamaldelica fem was ready in 12 weeks, Malawi about the same. Panama 14 and golden tiger was 14-15 weeks.I have the luxury of vegging outside , so they are very strong and bushy. Also I use Canna "Boost" which defiantly helps finish a little quicker.

yeah i should say given how small my current operation is fem seeds are sort of a must and pheno selection is also kind of hard, never tried canna boost i'll look into that
you got me interested in panama as well now how does it taste?
yes most strains i've run in this setup don't take much more than week to start budding
so they're all probably around the same height no? some more bushier i expect
which one has less phenos? i heard that banghi is pretty uniform

oh and does shortening the photoperiod help it mature? when do you start doing it?

Hey.!!.I have read that Bangi is very stable.I have only grown single seeds of my group so , I can't really comment on phenos. So other more experienced Ace growers may help. Hint hint.!!!!!!. I grow all my plants 11/13 . And don't really change that.Canna Boost is expensive , but worth every cent I think.The smell, taste and explosive bud formation is great. Where you located?

Bangi is very stable, very similar in growth. If you find a pheno that isn't like rest of them.....it's very rare. Very rare.
It is a good cropper, easy to grow.Doesn't mind cold and wet, it just grows.
Sorry I can't give specific blooming times, cos I don't record them.
I usually grow them in my greenhouse in summer and I'm in Arctic Circle.

How high do you want to get ? Forget the taste tasting great and not getting high is a bit of a waste IMO. I got 1lb from a single Malawi fem, and I am sure you could get the same from any of the others grown properly.
I always allow up to 16 weeks but usually take them from12 to14 weeks, counted from early bud formation. So 16 to 18 from the flip, clones take up to 2 weeks less time than from seed.
Anything with Malawi in it will knock you for six and get you high all day. If thats what you are looking for dive right in.

also about zamaldelica, since tripping is nothing new to me (not on weed) i'm sort of affraid these minor visuals would not really impress me , do people with experience in hallucinogens still find these visuals interesting?

The heaviness of some pure sativa strains is hard to explain. There's the unmistakably uppy feeling, but also a calming, introverted sensation. It doesn't stop the mind like an indica though. If an indica makes you want to sleep, the heavy sativa will make you want to close your eyes and day dream. Or do something that doesn't require much physical activity. That's what the electric sativas are for

I do 11/13 on all my pure sativas. Switched to 10/14 once to finish some off quicker, but I don't think that helped all that much. It would when flowering 10/14 all the way, but that's overkill IMO.
