That's probably what I'll do this is my first go round so don't wanna fuck it up. I think I have 10 different bags with different strains and moisture content, wish I would made more, so many possibilities.
If you think any of them are maybe more on the moist side. I'd open them to check even sooner than a month from now. I like to err on the side of caution myself. I figure it's always better to open them more frequently than not frequently enough, at least until you are comfortable with leaving them longer. I'm sure they will turn out great!

Coming from a legend thats so touching brother one love.
That last piece looks awesome brother I love the colors and the nice waxy sheen is always good to see.
I bet it was made from some of your exotic sativa crosses as well hey?

I'm going to grow some Malawi Gold and Colombian Gold x Demon Latcher again next grow.
The South American plants have the nicest chilling high I just cruise along all day no lethargic come down its awesome.
What do you recommend from your experience for energetic chilled trippy nothing bothers you highs from your stable.

All in all it seems good. Smells ok.
Not real terpy yet or anything
I resealed it for another month and then I'll give it a test. 😃

The timing has lined up and I'll have a cob ready to check every few days now.
By the time I get to the end of them all and circle back it will be time to try this one out.

Thanks everyone! And let me know what you think.

This is Cob #2. Purple Satellite 62 grams before I removed the sticks.
Instant pot sweat 24hrs. 84% internal
I was excited and jumped the gun a bit and made this one after hanging only 2.5 days.

So it came out quite wet inside.

At the 2 month mark.
Smells a little of chocolate

Lost quite a bit of moisture from almost 85%. This is my most wet/dark cob.

Was hard to get some good light for the pictures

I smoked a little. It was smooth and I caught a buzz but I was already high.
Resealed it for another month.
It's starting to get interesting.

Very nice also my friend once they are dried and aged at least 3 months they should give crystal clear highs.
I love the look of that small chunk so far removed from the usual green dried flower.

Your FAR too kind - The stuff that Mystic makes is great, lots of old lineage & gear, great fella too - I bet you love it again, just hope you give them ladies at least 10 hours of light this time

I'm actually putting together a list this week of the top 20 Sativas & Sativa Hybrids I'm gonna be initially offering, but really "energetic chilled trippy nothing bothers you highs" is my primary breeding goal so hopefully them all :)

Chewing on a nice big chunk of cob now, the bigger one above is from Haze L which is a mash up of many hazes I've been growing the past couple decades infused with some of my SE Asian work I've been heavily focused on the past 5 years, they grow well outside here too, handle the snow & cold like a champ, something a broad leafed plant / indicas could never handle in a million years.

Peace Bro, Happy Cobbing

PS: the obvious other great thing about cobs I don't see mentioned enough, what is a more healthy & natural edible than a cob; nothing - simply flowers as nature intended

This is my 3rd cob @ 2 months out.
Hung for 4 days. Sweat sous vide 24hrs @ 109°

It previously was 28.8 when last checked so losing some 💧

Sweet, earthy, it's got a faint chocolate bar nose going on. 😋
Back in the bag to seal and come back after the New Year!

I'm encouraged. That's 3 for 3 that don't seem to have been harmed by the process. 😁😉

That's the last one until Christmas.
But I have 12 more in the pipeline so I'll be reporting in.

Really cool seeing the moisture content as I just go by feel and smell I have no idea what the percentage moisture content is.
Its something that is really important to the curing for it to be a success and would help new comers to get it right. Thanks for documenting your journey it will be a great help for sure.

Ha Ha yes that would be the plan to get the best results for sure. But my fishing safari's take precedence and my weak state of mind cant tell the difference when I chew the matured cob ha ha.
I will be growing some outside in the sun this year for the full term as I do like the highs from sun grown better.
AND taking clones to flower indoors so I can have the best of both worlds thats the plan and so far its working a treat. A long hot summer is predicted so I will just have to keep pruning and cutting them back to avoid them turning into trees ha ha. Like Hombre used to post low and wide ha ha.

Testing this one today, gave it the low temp 90°f cob treatment for over a day and then let her sweat. Then resealed for about a month, The flavor is like an IPA, tastes fermented! Not as physical or mental as the higher temperature stuff but still very smooth, I can barely tell I've smoked anything if the bowl wasn't cashed.
