after reading many great reports on your golden tiger i thought sod it il have a pack of them (ive not done a good sativa in years, the last was a 18 week santa marta gold) but while reading up about her on your site i noticed your malawi...is she really that potent?? how dose she stack up against the gt, not which is the best just the pros and cons of growing and smoking each, i have 1200w ( 2 x 600w hps sometimes 1hps 1 mh) in a 3 x 4.25ft floor space in organic soil
thanks for your time

Hey bro... the Golden Tiger hybrid is really malawi predominant both in terms of growth, structure and high. The mum is really predominant. At least it was my own experience and with most of the grow reports Ive read in forums...

Anyway, probably you will get great vigour with the GT, but the effect will be very similar in both of them. Very strong initial sativa punch but very physical at the end... it's definitely a couchlocking heavy sativa!

I will go with GT for vigour and maybe you can get the lucky thai pheno! Otherwise, go for the so-called-"Killer" malawi clone seeds... ;)

peace.

By the way... keep in mind that both are really crazy sativas so be careful with the pots and nutes as they grow like crazy, expect amazing stretch even during flowering! I grew my GTs from clone and in small pots, only changed into bigger pots after almost 1 month flowering to avoid crazyness! :)

cheers mate, Im leaning towards the GT but the description on the malawi got me quite excited lol, going by reports i cant fail with GT but cant seem to find much info the killer malawi, reports or pics... i wish i had more room!!
oh and did you get any hermies, i know these can be a issue with long flowering tropicals, im not fussed about a nanner or two as long as theres not full blows shims :)

Welcome guy fawkes :)

Mustafunk answered your doubts perfectly, thank you very much ;)

Golden Tiger is very hermie resistant sativa considering the tropical genetics included in the hybrid. There was a chance to find a few hermie malawi plants in the past feminized version but this has been corrected in the standard malawi version available for the past year. We are working now on the new malawi feminized version. Hope it helps.

Just orderd my GT about 20 mins ago, along with some legends jonny blaze and dtc99
thanks very much, il probs regveg the best ones and dust a pollen from a fast dtc99, hopfully make her a bit quicker with out loosing to much of that tropical effect
im always chucking pollen about lol

dunno if this is good advice but GT stays smaller when you dont give it so much water, id suggest giving it as little water as possible in veg to keep it small but ofc water during flowering so yield does not suffer.

But in the end smaller plant = smaller yield.
