Malawi issues - what’s wrong?

It definitely has some resemblance with russet mites I do just wish it is not, because those mites are a pain in the a**, extremely invasive and hard to clean.

To be sure you don't have any mites check in a microscope or get some macro photos to get sure you don't have that in you growing space.

They're not all that much of a pain to deal with, more of a annoying nuisance than the evil plague they're presented as. They die obediently under the right conditions, but for sure you need really good closeup photos or a scope to confirm their presence when they're in the early stages of taking over. The earlier symptoms of russets look like a lot of other sick plant symptoms caused by different conditions so its hard to be certain without getting closer than the unaided human eye can see.

Malawi’s are doing fairly well. I’m still wondering what phenotypes I have, how long for harvest. Also, I have a standard male on its 23 day of 12/12. I never thought it would go this long without opening up. I’ve been thinking any day now for two weeks. Is this typical with male Malawi’s?

I have four females. One feminized that is a runt. One feminized that is short fat bushy and looks like a quick flower. One feminized that is a tall thin lanky and looks like it will be a while til harvest. One standard that is also tall lanky and will also be a good while before harvest.

Jpegs here. Anyone shed some light n these phenotypes I would be most appreciative. I put a roll of paper towels to give a size comparison FYI.

First is the runt. Second the short squattty one. Third and fourth are the two tall ones.

finally the Malawi male popped. Late in day 23 of 12/12. Only two pollen sacks blew their load as of end of 23 day. I suspect more will be open when I look shortly. I put a qtip under one, gave a nudge with the qtip and watched pollen fall. Swirled on some lower bud sights, wrapped with twist tie for later identification. Seeded both tall Malawi’s and the short squatty one. Left the runt alone. Also seeded a few of the indica crosses I gave going. Phenotype comments anyone??? It’s been a long road to get here but I’m feeling pretty good finally.
