thanks DWD, hope all is well.Looking phenomenal, especially that last pic. Juicy!
Damn oldbootz, so these are just getting started. How should I feed them for the rest of the way, I have been getting some expert feeding advice from other growers here, so any from you is welcome. how is life in Africa? Have you grown any of this inside or do you do everything outside? Must be nice to have that African climate. I looked at your journal, man just the bestest. Everything you did in that was perfection.I'd say about another 7-8 weeks at least.
There is your problem my friend start counting from the time you see flowers starting not the light change.one day into week nine of light change
Thanks for dropping in Tangwena. What is your feeding method for the last weeks? They started showing at week four. They are still mighty green. It is week nine since light change, so about 5 weeks since they started showing buds. What is a good NPK mix for this period, 1-5-4 or 2-2-3? The feed method is my big question because I want to bring these in right, also, if you see anything else that needs investigating let me know. Thanks for the help, it is invaluable. There is your problem my friend start counting from the time you see flowers starting not the light change.
They can take 3 weeks to start flowering sometimes and thats not included in your calculations.
Just sit back and let those babies fill out, you are going to have masses of buds from the look of those plants.
That looks like only the first or second flush of flowering there is a ways to go yet ha ha
I've looked at all of the posts here for Malawi, and there is a lot of info except glaringly, how the growers fed their plants through the end weeks. I mean did they keep the nitrogen up till the end, did they cut it back at a certain time, how much, and what mix of NPK at the end? This is my first landrace grow. So I will wing it. Tangwena said "I can only tell you what I would do and that's stop feeding them or slowly reduce the feeding to zero". So I will reduce the light to help with maturity, and lower the ec to about .5, and feed every third watering or so till about two weeks till harvest ( whenever that is) and then just ph'd water.
how bout a 1-5-4 npk mix for the next couple weeks and then drop em? I feed every other watering and I water when the lights come on and a couple hours before they go off. From the look of the leafs I have been having some ph issues. I need to find a food that is not a ph inhibitor. The Botonicare grew the shit out of them but still cheap shit. Maybe i'll make my own next time. know where i can get a good grow/bloom recipe?Well done TW666,
Follow Tangwena and your gut with it. I would take out all N at this point. Lower PK til final flush of pure ph'd water. You will see the plant change up and swell in the final two weeks. But always worth it as a bounty harvest awaits your hard work n patience! Happy growing!
