delicious! At what latitude are you located imr. long eared owl?Not bad for a pure sativa strain
hey man, you should try some more manageable hybrids of it first. dont give up! not all sativas are same, maybe just malawi or africans are not your cup of coffee, maybe you would like some south american sativas more, they are very different to africans. dont give up man and try some hybrids bred for indoors.I ran a pack of bodhi's open pollination of African seeds malawi gold indoors in the past . It was what I consider my first indoor grow failure . Plants took forever to bud smelled of carrots and when It was finished it was super airy with a headache like high. I give up on pure sativas indoors
Pretty buds, for me they might be ready right now. A third of the pistils dark and resin starting to turn cloudy/just a few, and that is all it takes for me.Not bad for a pure sativa strain
53 days in veg, 96 in flower for a total of 149 days (+21 weeks )Malawi is a 100% pure Sativa landrace strain whose origins can be traced back to Southeastern Africa.
sorry for asking in this thread, but how did the manipuri go?Manipuri is going up very slooowy... we will see how much
yes its a word game heheh,I know they say it. it is landrace origin they want to say it is not mixed with modern genetics, but when you take it from native place and select it at different place, it is not landrace anymore imo. I know it is just about terms... if those seeds would be from malawi farmers, we can say they are landrace seeds... but anyway what is the most important is how it smokes and not what term it is...
malawi gold from african seeds.
great job with Africa Seeds version. The ones I grew from a pack, now many years ago, looked much worse (from my inexperience). Afropip's version was a bit hardier in my view and similar (I liked the African Seeds version better). Both had pinkish pistils though and no hint of gold coloration. Loved the bizarre high which was short-lasting and social (to me).malawi gold is going to flower
thanks. I love african bizzare high too... I dont like when long flowering plant is short lasting in effect. hope I will find some with longer lasting effect... nice plant.great job with Africa Seeds version. Just harvested a Mal. Pan. plant that threw a gold pheno, which I interpret to come from the Malawi side. It was a quick plant too. View attachment 18912325
