Malawi 12/12 from seed

ps. forgot to mention that i installed a new reflector on my 750W HPS, which gives me much better light distribution now.
the lamp is also about 15cm closer to the canopy now and there is no more hotspot in the center. the heat dissipation is so much better than before..

it´s the "Prima Klima Azerwing medium".

i bought the same reflector also for my gavita fixture, since it is very old and the original reflector is a little mat meanwhile.
bought the gavita second hand, about 2 years ago..
i will convert the gavita fixture next week.

to convert the fixture into an "external" ballast with reflector, i was very lucky to find this adapter which gives me also a additional grounding of the ballast.
the reflector is separately grounded.

just for the completeness:

Nice 12/12 from seed grow subrovka. Gonna be watching this for sure. Thinking of doing the same thing 12/12 from seed when i order some ace mix and tropical mix (5 each std) for seed production.

Thanks for showing your grow op.

I use same technic with males, if I need them. I have bigger bag taped in the wall -> put male under it.

nice one! i was thinking about making me a little box inside my flower-box out of plastic wrap to perform an open pollination, one day..

..but soon i´ll put on a small breeding tent, cause i´m really into breeding lately..

..malawis up :tiphat:

#2 and #5 are the fastest growing ones and were transplanted into 8L fabric pots at day 46.

#2 is the earliest flowering girl:

#5 is the biggest one:

#1 and #3 remain in 6.5L pots, they also look great!

the clones of #2, #3 and #5 are already at day 4 of 12/12 now!
i thought it would be interesting to see the clones and the seedling mothers flower at the same time :)
