I got one of these Automatiks last year, now I cant even get 2k for it. That means I didnt like it. No offense to anyone, but I need a higher quality looking outcome in the end. Yes it can be fast, and if you have a lot of popcorn which no one likes to deal with, it can "process" that, but it aint pretty, and if you mix it in I personally think it makes the p look like crap, unless you go through it and touch every nug again and fine tune it, then whats the point with the machine.
My opinion is that it beats the hell out of them, sets em in to orbit at mach 3, leaves lots of resin on the sides of walls, makes a mess, even with the collection bag attached and taped up to the sides also. I wouldnt put big beauts in as Freedom says.
I suppose it would work ok for outty crop, as I loaned it to a pal for that last oct. and he was happy enough with it, but thats not the ideal finished product for my standards.
I spent 5 hours cleaning it to make it sale ready and cant wait to get rid of it, someone offered 1500, ouch, its like new, I paid 2800 and isnt 2 a fair price...anyways, lots of scrubbing with iso and an air compressor and its ready for a new home.
I am picking up the Spin Pro(Handy Trimmer) Monday as I think it is more gentle, gives a finer finished product and saves valuable time. My pal said he was dancing around in his garage after using it a few days ago, sounds good, down for dancing around in joy.
We'll see!
