I gave a friend some of my 90mg Indica Snickerdoodle Cookies and let him know that they were stronger than usual.

He emailed me today He called them All Day Cookies

Are you decarbing before in an oven or something? I have the Magical Butter 2.0 it is supposed to decarb the herb before it ru s the cycle. I have tried oil, butter, coco butter, McT oil, and both typesbof tincture. I wasted many oz of material while using mine! I know the first model did not have the auto decarb feature. Mine does, and they woukdnot tell me the temps or time the "decarb" cycle ran. But I have made enough edibles to know that the material was too green and was not potent at all. I like the fact that you can set it and walk away, but not one batch of my material tuern out good using the Mb2. I think there is a thread somewhere discussing people's methods, what works best. I bought a potato ricercari and gonna make some brownies today. I use my nuwave induction flat top. I will set it for 290f and let the coconut oil get up to temp and add material for about 9 min. Remove and cool, using a potato ricercari and cheesecloth to get the most out. My MB 2 is collecting dust. I am glad your method works, because the mb 2 claims to decarb...maybe if you ran 2 cycles? I love making cookies, Kroger used RO have Kroger brand cookie mix that called for 1/2 cup Of oil. Had to get brownies. The mB 2 mixes the crap out of the material, but not enough heat to activate the ,aterial.

I was Leary, but I emailed them and they said that their decarb temps were secret information and to not Pre-decarb any of my batches. Needless to say it never produced a good extract. It mixes the material so fine....I hated that. But I got a potato ricer now, I see you like yours and get good results with the potato ricer to get the most. Back out of the material. I am making some coconut oil tomorrow. I am going to try it on my Nuwave, get the coconut oil to 290F for 9min.

I like akin cookies, cause they cook faster than brownies. But the cookie brand I used to use is no longer carried. I am using the whole jar of Cocpnut oil with material ground up material, about a 50/50 mix. I will try your method next run, I willnhave to bust out the Magic Butter Machine and clean her up. Do you have a preferred amount of material to use per jar of coconut oil? What is your favorite edible you make? I want the Mb machine to work, It is collecting dust. It has potential, I knew their decarb temps were too low and short in Time. But it takes a lot of material, and I hate wasting. I love that you can walk away from the Mb machine. But the thing wasted a lot of my material. I will try it with some high quality trim Thrsday, decarbing inn oven for 30 min at 250. I need some cookie mix! Thanks for the tips.

Higher fat content and easier to deal with.

Have you used this device yet for tincture?

I made some with 151 Light Rum and it was ok.

You might want to try it at 190f if you want to reduce it.

Not as bad as just doing it on the stove.. But you can still smell something.. They work great.. But I still like butter and water method on the stove..

It's best for me making 2 pounds of Coconut Oil with 2 ounces of decarbed Bud (my secret recipe).

I wasted A ton of material because I emailed the company and they assured me the decarb function was good and I listened. Against my own judgment listened to them. Like I said before, it never made a strong edible. FWIW, I now use a Nuwave induction heated stove top. I made a batch of Coconut oil out of Rosin Chips. I ground them up with my coffee grinder, I Pre-heated the Coconut oil to 290f. I only simmered the mix for 9 min, then removed and drained most of the oil into a measuring cup, then let the rest cool enough to use my potato ricer and squeezed the material as much as I could. I love the Nuwave and Potato Ricer. I got most of the oil back and used Easter candy melted and mixed the Coconut with the Chocolote equally into silicon candy molds. I gave out like 10 or so to my friends to try. Everyone who ate them said they were extremely potent to them. I have a high tolerance so I ate 2. I could feel the effects pretty strong for a little bit. I had some pretty rave reviews. Some people saying they were the strongest edible they had ever eaten!
I used 290f for 9 min, I could see the bubbles change. This was made with Rosin chips. But I really think the decarb temp at 290 for 9 min worked really well. I am gonna try that temp and time again to see if the results are as good. Have a Magical Butter machine that is collecting dust.
