I haven't tried it yet, but I've read that black caulk works great. It can be found a your local hardware store.

funny you mention that I've thought about using engine block sealant before. LOL Though aside from the horrible smell, i think these would be fire hazards no?

I have tried a few things before ultimately settling on the gorilla glue tape.

Mylar - gets too hot
Aluminum tape - really hard to work with and smells funky
Airconditioning tape - held heat
duckt tape, didnt stick well

Gorilla Glue Tape - sticks well, easy to work with and best of all no smell.I figured anything that smells the plants would end up tasting like it?

So my sprout I'm guessing was planted too close to the soil, it has a long thin stem but the node is brining it down so its leaning to the left LOL. Any suggestions? Im thinking maybe more dirt or getting a small chop stick and start LST early?

The caulk is silicone. Yes it smells at first, but once it cures it is odorless. It's also very heat tolerant, it's used for cooking utensils.

This is the thread that I read about it. I think you will like it.
